I propose a day of prayer for Our elected officials!

Need I remind you, Hiki, that you have no objective, absolute basis to make any moral judgments against God which are meaningful in any realm of truth to determine whether or not God exists. All you have is your own personal opinion.

If God destroys those who are evil and violate His own laws, that is His perogative as the sovereign and all-wise God of the universe, and you have nothing to say about it which can change that fact. God hates sin, and He deals with it as He pleases, giving grace to some sinners through forgiveness and giving judgment to other sinners through fiery wrath (Romans 9).

This is the God we pray to because we know all things are in His control, and we know that He will punish those who choose to ignore His law and turn to their own ways. That is the nature of our country right now, and if we don't repent and ask God to forgive our sins (both individually as citizens and collectively as a nation), then we will end up as other civilizations in the past, like Sodom and Gomorrah, who met their demise due to their repugnant and arrogant immorality in defiance of God Himself.

Yeah!What he said.

"I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I should do, and with the help of God, I will do."

Ah... The same old shit again...

Let me ask you, why hasn't God thrown any lighting or brimstone on earth recently? Why it has been 2000 years since he was doing all that shit, did he retire? Did it get boring? God was in favor of the Jews and Israel in the Bible all the time, how come he doesn't rain fire on the Palestinians?

No, RP is trendy in 2008. The New Atheism has been hot since 2005.

For comparison to this movement, you will have to look at the first age of enlightenment.

Ron Paul did not gain his popularity from the disenfranchised conservatives... he gained it from the tech savvy, anti-authority, atheist hacker culture. Something the movement later shit on.

For some reason, your post made me think of this:

What would that be a valid argument for?

The claim of the cartoon was that it was obvious that there were a powerful creator about because of the apparent beauty of the world.

I posted a picture of a starving child about to feasted upon by a vulture. The world is a harsh, cold, place, and often the beauty that does exist is in the eye of the beholder. There is no god that cares, and it is evident alone from that picture... a non-Christian child, who will burn in your version of hell for eternity, for being born and starving in a forgotten land... ironically the land where humanity itself arose.

It's almost poetic.
