I actually fairly enthusiastically voted for Ted when he ran for Senate (both in the primary and general election) for, presumably, the same reasons why Ron and Rand endorsed him. As a candidate, he had an obvious libertarian streak and spoke out against the indefinite detention, federal subsidies, and the bank bailouts. But he's pandered so much to the neocons and the social conservatives in Iowa that it's evident that he cares far more about the fortunes of Ted Cruz than the fortunes of individual liberty.
Until yesterday, there was about a 30% chance that I could support him as an alternative to Rand. But that over with, and I'm over Ted.
