Here's the situation: We have approximately 500 signatures (which is the required number to get him on the ballot in Delaware). However, there are many reasons why the Department of Elections can throw a signature out as not being valid. Some of the reasons include the voter not being registered as Republican at the time if signing, illegible handwriting, information not filled out in full, etc. So, we have much less than the 500 needed.
Next week is the cut-off to get him on the ballot so this weekend is our last opportunity to get the required signatures.
\I'm located in Newark, but the signature drive is being organized to take place in all three counties.
Gregory Scarpa and others: Here is the link to print out the petition. Please note it does need to be printed on legal-sized paper. Also, be sure to double-check that all information is filled out absolutely correctly. Otherwise, the name will not be counted.
