I loved the look of Ron Paul to McCain..

I was just rewatching that.

It was a "naughty naughty" look in calling out McCain's blatant lie to the audience. McCain obviously wasn't expecting the boos from the crowd, either.

If anything our sanctions against Germany after World War 1 were what created Hitler.

I thought McCain calling out Ron Paul was the defining moment in the campaign so far. McCain is sinking in the polls and had to try a stunt like that and even so it backfired!

i laughed so hard when i saw ron shaking his head and i was just thinking "uh oh. mccain f***ed up."

I can't help but think that move was McCain taking one for the team. But the guy operating the camera feed got a perfect look on Ron's face. Like you shouldn't take me there. Unfortunately he was only give about 15 seconds to respond.

I also loved how RP just looked at him and smiled and was like ... "you're seriously trying to blame the U.S. for the rise of Hitler... it's our fault... come on... really" By the way the rise of Hitler had nothing to do with U.S. isolationism or non-interventionism for that matter, most scholars blame the rise of Hitler to the sanctions that the treaty of Versailles imposed on Germany. It strangled that nation... and gave rise to a nativist sentiment that they should strike back against the nations which imposed that treaty. Hitler like Bin Laden owed his rise too much foreign interventionism. I know for a fact that Ron Paul has said negative things about the treaty of Versailles which was one of the worst treaties the world has ever seen. It could be rightfully seen as the source of countless deaths and wars.

equating ron paul to a hitler sympathizer is an alltime low for mccain... hes getting desperate.

Godwin's Law violation for McCain?

I thought Paul did fine, considering he got about 3 minutes of airtime the whole night...lame MSM BS.

So very true. WWII was a direct result of WWI. They are basically the same war -- the countries just needed time to breed the next soldiers to go get butchered.

I'm really disappointed in McCain. He's still good on torture, but on everything else . . .

I voted for him in 2000. I put a bumper sticker on my car. I got others to vote for him. I can't believe he's the same person.
