Absolutely. Some of these guys who have it in for American women were probably dumped for a good reason. Their ex-wives and girlfriends probably got tired of fetching beers from the fridge, vacuuming around them and having to scratch their asses for them after they got home from working all day to support them and the kids too.

I honestly don't see how it affects you either way. And yes, I freely admit that I think American women are bad for a man's well-being.

Believe it or not, though, I actually have standards that most American women don't measure up to. Imagine that! A man who has standards.

One thing to note, Evangelicals don't generally believe in divorce (except in the case of adultery, in which case most evangelicals are tolerant of divorce). I'm not sure how many actually stick to their convictions on that point, though.

I've mostly avoided engaging any of your points from a negative POV, because I find Terry extremely annoying, but wouldn't it make more sense to say that you are giving up on feminists than to say you're giving up on "American women" in general? I mean, I can understand saying that you're more likely to find someone in another country, but would you make an absolute statement that you'd never marry anyone from the US? If you would, it seems to me that that would be irrational, though your choice of course. Admittedly, I could understand not wanting to marry someone who is "proud" to be an American, but that's a different issue

Well, no, because the truth is that I AM giving up on American women. I'm actually moving out of the country and I will no longer seek their affection. That's why I say "American women"; because, while I recognize that I might eventually find a good one if I stuck around, I'm not sticking around to find out.

Also, it's not just feminists. There are other types of American women who don't call themselves feminists but are still objectionable for many of the same reasons many of the men are objectionable. Believe it or not, I'm not just looking for someone to do my dishes and make me sandwiches. That's another reason I say American women and not feminists, because I find it unlikely that I will find someone I can connect with on an emotional level in America, feminist or not.
