Yes, I really do believe there are better countries, or at least that I can live more in other parts of the world than I can here. Anyway, I'm going to find out soon as I'm leaving the US and likely won't be back for quite awhile. I think Asia and South America are probably better than the US. Poorer, but better to live in, especially for a foreigner.
In fact, I'm willing to bet that our police state is the absolute worst in the world. You can't find a cop in the US that would let you get anywhere near him without killing you, but even in China, supposedly one of the worst police states, you can find drunk people walking up to cops and leaning on their shoulder, and they don't feel the need to kill, beat, or otherwise maim them. I think most countries would be appalled at how easy it is to get killed by a cop here. That's not the only thing, either. It also says a lot about the culture that allows this to keep happening. We're so burdened with regulations and laws it's not funny.
Really--"Asia and South America"? Okay--well I hope that your well off enough to purchase property and security enough to fend off the guerrilla army down there in South America that pretty much runs things. "Asia"?--really?--You want to move to China? LOL--Like I said--hope you're very rich--you'll need it. You know what they say about the grass being greener on the other side.
