I love my brother, but he's so stupid.

Yes, I really do believe there are better countries, or at least that I can live more in other parts of the world than I can here. Anyway, I'm going to find out soon as I'm leaving the US and likely won't be back for quite awhile. I think Asia and South America are probably better than the US. Poorer, but better to live in, especially for a foreigner.

In fact, I'm willing to bet that our police state is the absolute worst in the world. You can't find a cop in the US that would let you get anywhere near him without killing you, but even in China, supposedly one of the worst police states, you can find drunk people walking up to cops and leaning on their shoulder, and they don't feel the need to kill, beat, or otherwise maim them. I think most countries would be appalled at how easy it is to get killed by a cop here. That's not the only thing, either. It also says a lot about the culture that allows this to keep happening. We're so burdened with regulations and laws it's not funny.

Really--"Asia and South America"? Okay--well I hope that your well off enough to purchase property and security enough to fend off the guerrilla army down there in South America that pretty much runs things. "Asia"?--really?--You want to move to China? LOL--Like I said--hope you're very rich--you'll need it. You know what they say about the grass being greener on the other side.

I find it hard to believe that there is no place better than America. If America is really the best place on earth to live, then yeah, I'll definitely be disappointed.

If you're very rich, you can pretty much go anywhere you like and be safe, because you'll be able to afford it. If not--then I do believe you'll be returning very soon from either one of those places you've mentioned.

Actually, the cost of living is quite low in China. What do you know about life there?

Are there any first world countries other than the US and western europe to you?

Not quite, American passport by itself is very attractive to many foreign women and when you combine it with a man on the attractive side of the bell curve plus a good job? I can imagine that there are going to be real attractive foreign women out there who would want to better their lot in life by marrying (up) an American.

We have quite a large market for that and has been for a very long time. Unfortunately and for the most part--what happens is once they snag their American guy--they usually dump them after they become legal.

Well there's France and the United Kingdom, but first world countries are mainly considered those aligned with the U.S. with democracies and developed. So why would you then move to a first world country if you're looking for a third world mentality woman? Women in first world countries are not much different than American women, so how then would you bettering yourself by hooking up with a foreign woman then--unless that is like I said--you're looking for some down-trodden third world female who's been raised to believe that she's a lessor human being than a man.

???? A third world country and "first world country women" not being that much different than American women. :toady:

Have you even met English women,Thai hookers have more dignity than them.

Also please explain to me the first world /third world mentality difference.

Where are you getting your info? How do you know that this is what "usually happens"?

Aligned with the US and with democracies? A little biased, don't you think? Both the US and democracy are overrated. Of course, you won't hear that in American media, but that doesn't mean it's not true.

Also, "third world mentality"? Aren't you assuming that all first world women are feminists? Admit it. You're biased because you lack perspective and believe what American media says about the rest of the world.

Your whole view is America-centric.

Oh please, now I'm being ganged up on by you guys that have been jilted by those terrible domineering, controlling American women feminazies. My advice is to grow some gonads and common sense. This is why I started this thread in the first place because even though I love my brother--he's not too bright when it comes to women.

What you get is whatever you value the most in a woman--remember this next time you're jilted and left broke and devastated.

Here's Amanda Billyrock talking about her experience travelling the world (including Chile in South America). She doesn't seem to think it's so bad.

That's what I keep hearing from the feminazis. You say you're not one, but I'm starting to doubt that.

"Just suck it up and take your emasculation like a man!"

Well excuse me if I'm not too receptive. Why don't you just admit that you're getting defensive because you have no idea what the rest of the world is like? You seem to be incapable of fathoming the idea that there can be dignified first world women from other countries who don't emasculate you.

If you want my most honest opinion here you'll get it now. What I think?--I think that you're looking for a slave and not someone to share your life, heart and feelings with. Someone who can communicate with you in the same language and on the same level. Whatever floats your boat there dude.

There's some drawbacks to these culturally mixed marriages and relationship that have become real problems in their lives together. A lot of American men and women even--who marry into other cultures find themselves lacking the familiarity they need to survive in that relationship after the newness of the sex and superficial stuff wears off. Sometimes these relationships work out and many more times they don't.

Aaaaand the truth comes out... you assumed I was looking for a slave.

That's your problem. You don't seem to be able to fathom the idea that I don't like feminist culture and yet I'm not a misogynist. The mind boggles!

If you were looking for the right qualities in a woman in the first place--you'd be smart enough to understand that worldly location is not the issue and doesn't mean a thing. I don't even have to guess what your mentality is--you've said more than enough to make it glaringly apparent.

Unfortunately, worldly location does matter because culture differs across worldly boundaries. You can't honestly tell me that that "doesn't mean a thing."

I certainly haven't said what you've implied, that I'm a domineering misogynist male who wants a bitch to slap around once in a while. I don't think it's MY mentality that's the problem, I think it's yours. You apparently have no problem with calling me a slave driver just because I think culture matters and I don't like America.

If you have fundamental problems within your own culture, you're going to find you have those same fundamental problems with other cultures as well. Of course, you'll never grow and you'll never know until you try, and assuming that everything beyond your definition of First World is full of knuckle-draggers or women who need to be "saved" from their "slavery" is just sad. Some people do choose to be traditional. Feminism in its original, uncorrupted form would applaud that at least as loudly as it applauds women with careers who don't depend on men for anything at all.

RPFs is not alone in this, but there is this distinct assumption that the only reason some of the guys on here are single is because women are just awful and silly and full of themselves and unfeminine and can't handle the REAL men that populate the land of memes and keyboards. They are highly emotional, gold-digging, evil creatures out to cry "rape" where there is none, have promiscuous sexual relationships with people OTHER than the guys on here, and other than that they might not be hot, and that's a particularly nasty crime. If you aren't willing to really put some time into looking for someone whose values honestly coincide with yours, then you're not likely to find them. It's remotely possible that there just aren't any good women anywhere in your area, and that it's full of man-hating feminists, but it seems far more likely that you're doing something wrong.

Best of luck remedying that by moving to South Korea.

As for women from those other cultures being backwards, pfffbt. Mom didn't pump her own gas or write checks or know how to do much of anything at first. Grandma hardly knew how to read. They still ran their households, and no one would even pretend to contradict that. I'm not just stating that they were in charge of the kids and chickens and making more kids. I am saying that they held their own in conversations, and complimented the skills that their other family members brought to the table. I am saying that, after all the lights were low and everyone else was asleep, decisions were made in tandem. I am saying that just because someone makes an awesome dinner and decides to let the "man of the house" speak up without feeling a need to butt in or correct him or put him down, does not mean she is a meek little mouse incapable of thought and in need of rescue.

So really, if you could all stop your race to the bottom, stick your noses back where they belong, and stop pretending you're each correct, the world would be better for it.

But I doubt that will happen.

The opposite is also true: there is the distinct assumption that all men here are knuckle-dragging neckbearded nerds who live in their mom's basement and just can't handle women in general--as evidenced by Terry's posts.

She just blatantly called me a slave driver without any indication of that whatsoever. Apparently it's impossible to not like America for what it's become and still be a civilized man. Not to mention the illicit assumption that no such man would ever be satisfied in any other culture, as if there was nothing to dislike about America.
