The time for convincing the people that Rand is the best choice has passed. We failed in that mission. Now we have to suck it up and decide who we are going to have in the White House for the next four years, and then we can focus on getting someone better next time. If my vote can at least keep Marco or Jeb out of the White House, I'm going to use it to do that. It's better than throwing it away. All or nothing is not how politics is played.

I have supported Trump, what's your point. He's always been my second choice behind Rand. There is nothing wrong with supporting the best available choice. I'd much rather have Ron Paul, but since he didn't run this time, I wouldn't write his name in, I'd vote for Rand if he was still running.

Don't worry, if you vote for Cruz or Trump, your vote is wasted anyway. Others will vote for them, you don't have to.

I think the best person for the job is myself. I'll go ahead and write my name in even though there's no way I can win. You can do the same, since I'm sure you think that you'd be better than Rand.
 
I heard Rand got almost 3% in the early voting precincts, tied with Carson and Carly. Hope he gets a big number of votes now! :)

Tell us how you really feel. If nothing is done about immigration we are NEVER going to get another opportunity to elect someone like Rand. You can stand by and let Rubio, Kasich, or Hillary win, and ensure the political dominance of the Democratic party forever, or you can vote Trump and at least have a fighting chance to get a liberty candidate elected down the road.

I'm going to stop posting in this thread now because it's becoming too destructive. Most of us are on the same side on most of the important issues. Whether we disagree on voting strategy is meaningless. Have a nice day, and sorry to anyone I ticked off with my viewpoints.

Those results were for only the three early precincts that close and report in the wee hours though. Rand was tied at the time with many others there. Trump had 9 total then.
