I just talked with National

Truth needs no encouragement.
I am in this to promote the message of liberty and the sovereignty of the individual.
I will carry on, I urge you all to do the same.

Truth may need no encouragement, but the fallacy of the enlightenment is that the leaders assumed that the truth was self-evident to everyone. An appeal to reason does not work with a significant majority of the population.

You guys really, why should he put out a press release, if the press wants to hear where he stands they can pick up the phone and ask him. I think we should give the dude a day. As far as hearing from him to make us feel better, come on, now, we are Ron Paul Republicans, we don't need to have him come out and hold our hands. Remember, what he said, this is our campaign, he is in it until we no longer support him. So instead of having him come and make us feel better, why not make him feel better.

It is easy to place blame, and as I look around, I say yuk to the other candidates. I agree about getting congressional seats, and keeping this base, etc. I disagree on Blaming our campaigning efforts or the candidate. You have to look at the envirnoment around you. As everyone talks of Global Warming, take into account the enviornment we are operating. Enough said, we all should be very, very proud of ourselves, and if anyone sees a candidate out there they want to support they should. I think one thing we all agree on is freedom. There is clearly the freedom to leave as well as the freedom to stay and roll up sleeves and fight. One thing is if you plan on staying, no more seeds of doubt, we can't, we can't, we can't. I for sure don't want to hear that shit, let's work of facts, not feelings.

I like the way you think. :)

end the war and spend my tax money on me.

That's what they say. What they do is an entirley different story. I am sorry but 99% of politicians lie to get a vote and then do just what they please in office. The last 8 years were perhaps the most egregious example .

Presidential candidate Ron Paul says he traces America's problems to the flawed monetary policy of the wealthy and secretive elite.

How right he is.

I agree with you totally. I have been following Paul since 2005, donated to his (and Badnerik's) 2006 congressional campaigns. I don't want anyone else in the whitehouse... and I will probably write in Paul either way, but it will be tempting to completely turn on the GOP if McCain is the nominee. If Obama is the Dem nominee, I think he will end the war. Clinton is a pragmatist and I think she will do whatever she wants. Her husband wasn't anti-war at all, look at Yugoslavia. I'm just saying, faced with a choice between a pro-war democrat with anger issues (McCain) and an anti-war democrat (Obama) I might be tempted to vote for Obama so that the Republican party can begin to see that neo-conservatism is dead and needs to go. We need to clean house.
