I told them we felt there sympathy for the unfaireness the Cnn debates showed to both Ron and Huck, and thanked them for not stealing Paul signs. Here in Florida whenever you saw a Ron Paul sign it was taken down immediately and a Romney sign put up. I thanked them for being class acts and not doing that.

I also complimented Huckabee for never acting disrespectful and laughing at Ron, and disagreeing with him like a human being not like a 5 year old. Which is more then I can say about the other candidates.

The positive responses were overwhelming! They all thanked me for my post and said that Ron Paul has some good points. Some of the posters commented on how badly Paul was treated during the debate and said they included both him and Huckabee in their emails to cnn.

I was suprised I didn't get one negative response. They complimented us on all our dedication, and wished us luck!

I don't agree with all the politics and I'm still Ron Paul all the way, but I just gained a whole lot of respect for Huckabee supporters. They really are class acts.

That's great news and I think that was also a wonderful gesture on your part!!

We share a lot of values.

Maybe, just maybe after Huck drops out we will get a second wind behind us.

I think it's time be come build some team work between both boards. We both want to take out the IRS, and agree on more than we care to admit.

So I don't see we could elect representatives on both boards to act as representnatives for mutally benefitical efforts since it will take lot of manpower to fight the MSM abondoning both our candidates

I <3 the Huck people. They're very nice and determined. They dont all like Paul but they dont like it when he's ignored either.

I agree...can we make this a reality?

People are clueless about this... The difference between Ron's elimination of the IRS and Huckabee's is a Huge one..

Huck's elimination of the IRS means nothing because you will still need an organization to collect his massive 30% taxes.. Whereas Paul wants to eliminate the IRS and the income tax altogether and replace it with nothing..

Huckabee wants to stay in Iraq and spend trillions there.. Paul doesn;t.. Ron wants the people to have those billions and trillions of dollars IN THEIR POCKETS !

It pains me that people cannot see the HUGE differences.. Hucks claim to eliminate the IRS is just a diversion more than a concrete fact.. it will do very little to affect the bottomline.. Meanwhile Paul defines a whole new bottomline for freedoms and alot more money in your pocket..

There is a big difference, but I would rather there be a sales tax than a income tax. Paul himself has said he would rather have the Fairtax than the IRS, although he would obviously rather just get rid of the IRS and not replace it.

yup!

this is valuable coalition building work, good job. after super tuesday, huck will be out, and a large fraction of his supporters are going to consider paul, especially considering he's the best christian candidate.

I don't care much for the huck, but I'd rather listen to him then Mcwar or Rombo

I've had very civil, cordial email discussions with one of Huck's people. Overall, my impression is that most Huckabee supporters are good people who have a few opinions that are different from ours (maybe a couple of big ones, but still).

I think it's very possible that Huck's Army and Paul's Patriots could team up on specific projects.

I'm sure the Huckabee folks would prefer a 1% or 5% sales tax instead of a 23%+ tax, too.

I think Huckabee supporters are moderate Paul supporters. We know Huckabee has some pretty big government ideas, but I doubt his supporters are for big government. They may disagree with us on the war, but they're not McCain or Giuliani supporters for a reason. We can get them on the tax issue, the economy, immigration, and of course abortion.

well, the unfortunate issue remains that the moderators of Hucksarmy regularly and continually BAN anyone who attempts to register with any hint of being a Ron Paul supporter. I'm ALL FOR debating the subjects and the pros and cons of each candidate openly and honestly without namecalling - and the only forum where that is currently being done is this one. Hucksarmy DOES have a secret Ron Paul forum (you have to seach using words other than Ron or Paul to find it) and it was formally in a forum titled "opposition research." This forum contains nothing but hit pieces and already discredited information. the words Huck supporters use over there are not kind by any means.

If the moderators at Hucksarmy would allow the OPEN DISCOURSE we have here, there wouldn't be bad blood. Unfortunately all of the information Hucks supporters over there recieve are the hit pieces and negative media impressions, and they have never been allowed to hear the honest truth. I have perused their site for a few months now and the overwhelming impression i get is one of people so hell-bent on seeing what they want to see that they refuse to accept the reality right in front of them. And more importantly, they are terrified of hearing opposition viewpoints.

FREEDOM - there is no other substitute. Til Hucksarmy learns that, then they will not have my support.
