I just filed to become a state delegate in Indiana; it was so easy. This is the last week!

Ok thank you. How can I improve my chances of them picking me? Is there a way to contact them and let them know Im interested in being a delegate?

Do I even have a chance at becoming a delegate given that im 19?

I was a state delegate at 18 years old. Granted, it was in Indiana so I wasn't picked by the campaign or anything. But it shouldn't really matter.

Yes, I have filed and it was easy. The person at the voter registration in putname county was very helpful in filling out the CAN-37 for both delegate and precinct committeeman. Now, getting past the 7 day challenge period.

Thanks for the help Melissa, James, and everyone else for direction in getting this done!

The county clerk and my county chair were kind and helpful as always.

It's such a simple process. Anyone can do it who voted Republican in their last primary, you just have to fill out a Declaration of Candidacy. If you haven't voted in a primary yet, you can still become a delegate by pledging support to the GOP.

If you are interested in becoming a delegate, you have until Friday at noon to file. Get in touch with Melissa Burger at [email protected] to ensure you are filing properly.

Excellent work OP and great info for anyone in Indiana
