I think it's great that we have all these youtube videos that we can use to spread the message and I know google has been very good to us but I just don't see why we don't use metacafe.com for our videos.

If we put all our grassroots ads on metacafe and signed them up for metacafe.com/producer_rewards then we can use the money from the videos to support the campaign. Think of all the views our youtube videos get and then translate that into money!

Thats actually a very good idea.

You can get quite a bit of money there for videos that do well.

Someone who works with video needs to get on this.

I didn't know anything about metacafe. Sounds like a good idea to me. It probably wouldn't work, though, if it is a vid clip of a news program because of copywrite issues.

Metacafe movies play terribly on my computer. Maybe they work better on other computers. You tube videos, on the other hand, always play well.

Please! Do not post someone else's video on metacafe -- intellectual and artistic property fraud are very common and very dangerous terrain. Make sure you contact each youtube producer/director, like Aravoth, eLib3rty, etc, and make them aware of the metacafe site. They must post them on their own, or provide you with written permission to profit from their work.
