I just ate a venison sloppy joe on hemp bread.. i feel like such a hippie

Man I miss venison. My brother (who funny enough lives in Wattsburg) cooks the best freakin deer loin. Unfortunately it's hard to find in the City and costs of fortune.

Try pheasant if you ever get a chance. Best game bird out there in my opinion. I know the game commission stocks them in Erie County.

haha, eww.

hemp bread is good... but just the thought of venison creeps me out. my dad used to trick us into eating it as kids... and then would laugh and ask us how bambi tasted.

Growing up,we had folks up the road that hunted and trapped for a living. You never knew what was in the Pot. It was best to not ask, though always tasty, it might be anything.

Mmm, Muskrat stew.
Oh yeah, They weren't hippies.
I have game all over my land. Rabbits, and birds to deer.I haven't seen bear on my land, but they are in the area. I want my rights back.

How do you get fifty hippies in a VW? Throw in a quarter.

How do you get them back out? Throw in a bar of soap.

My mom tells me stories about eating squirrels, possums, raccoons, groundhogs, all kinds of nastiness. Snapper turtle soup. Frog legs. Pigs feet. Ew.

They weren't hippies or anything, just people who lived in the country and had 16 kids to feed. There might be a little redneck thrown in there.. ;)
