I have been asked to remove some personal delegate info and identities for now

I really don't see any reason to remove it. I think some people may be being too alarmist. The Party knows exactly who's who. It's not hard to figure out. I've never received any type of instruction to keep the identities secret, with the exception of during the ballot petition challenge period which has long expired. BTW I'm one in district 13 so please vote for me :p

I requested the scrub.

I can't speak for any other district but we in the south west portion of the state are keeping things as anonymous as possible.

There are email addresses in this thread that should be able to provide you with all the info you need.

I would propose a sticky thread with the email addresses and let people know that some districts are not open to the info going public yet. PM if you need too.

We still have to deal with this, where I'm told the rules for the national convention are made.

Sunday 10 June 2012: Summer Meeting. The Pennsylvania Republican State Committee will meet to choose 10 at-large delegates.

The at-large delegates, chosen by the state's Republican State Committee, will go to the Republican National Convention officially "Unpledged". [Rule 8.3]
In addition, 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Pennsylvania's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates by virtue of their position.
If they know our numbers we will loose because they will be prepared.

why can't we post the delegate names? I really don't see the danger of the names going public. PA delegates are unpledged and can vote for whomever they choose. If you need to know the CD7 delegates then let me know, ASAP!

Do you guys think our political enemies scour these forums looking for inside info and delegate names?

I'm not saying they don't, but that thought would scare the crap out of me.

Whether they are or not, I think you have to assume that they are.

the info is available on state gop websites . There is no secret about this so kinda of pointless. The info is on sites for the gop!

you mean like the false romney slate printed on sat at the colorado convention to help divide the ron paul vote.

Makes good sense to me

You know the old saw, "Loose Lips Sink Campaigns" or something like that.

But PA delegates aren't chosen at a state convention, they're chosen by direct election on Tuesday. The real danger is that the names of the Paul delegates won't be known by his supporters before the election, that's why we should be posting them here. The establishment already knows who's for Paul and who's for Romney, it's really not hard to figure out.
