I was conversing with one of my fellow Paul supporters yesterday, and we ended up briefly mentioning MLK Jr. and Gandhi. I gave him a link to MLK's "I Have a Dream Speech."

17 Minute Video of the speech, awesome, very powerful.

And then it came to me, a great idea. What if Ron Paul did the same, what if we held a march in Washington DC supporting Paul, and he gave a speech to the nation in front of hundreds of thousands of people, right where MLK stood and spoke decades ago. Many with a Paul sign in one hand, and a US Flag in the other.

A struggle and a message not so different, and an outcome just as successful. A message of Freedom and Liberty, a speech heard around the world.

That's it, what do ya think? If its good, if it can be done, can someone get this idea to the right people?

MLK has been overdone. everyone from obama to clinton to romney has been using him or his quotes during this campaign season. it's kind of sad because it is diluting his message. instead i would suggest independence hall in philadelphia instead.
