Little bit of trivia btw. I've gotten messages through the various places I've posted it that people like my speaking style. Funnily enough, my muse on public speaking is someone who, while many people on this forum like, he is pretty much a socialist. For a few years now I've considered this to pretty much be the epitome of public speaking:
If anyone wants to get into public speaking, this video is a great video to watch a few times. Ignore what he says, the important thing is how he says it. He speaks slowly, pauses after every few words to let it sink in to the crowd, and feeds on the crowds energy to escalate his tone from fairly normal to incredibly passionate in a manner of seconds. Kucinich may be a socialist, but he's one hell of a speaker. If RP was half the speaker that Kucinich was he'd probably be doing a lot better in the polls
