Yep. Despite the reputation as an extremely liberal school, I've actually found that there are a lot of libertarians. Many of the econ majors that I know are pretty libertarian, and even the liberal political activists there respect Ron Paul.

Are you involved with the meetup group in Germantown? I'm signed up to get their emails, but I haven't made it over there yet. I don't have a car but I have friends who do so maybe I'll give it a shot and try to make it over there one of these days.

I'd love to, but I'm probably going to be back in school (I was home for the long weekend.) I hope to get more chances to attend OWS though, as my school is only a couple of hours away from the city. Next time I will hopefully come armed with slim jims and books to hand out.

We still have an educational battle to fight. In the long run, the educational battle is the battle that we need to fight. We cannot bet the future of the country on one man winning one election, no matter how awesome it would be. We need to take the fight everywhere.

I actually really like the format. It's really weird and pretty authoritarian to have people repeating what you say, but at the same time it gave me a little time to collect my thoughts so I could plan out what I was going to say next. It was also really invigorating to have people repeat everything you say, and definitely helped to fuel the passion.

The format looks a lot creepier than it is. That was actually the second speech I made (AFAIK there is no video of the first), and I learned how to space it out the first time.
