I don't think we should forget other states

Iowa and NH aren't everything. Just saying. We need to focus on atleast 20 other states. I don't want to weaken our positions in Iowa and NH, but then again there would be no point to have a strong showing in just 2 states, and become weak in all other states. Think of California, Nevada, and similar states

Thoughts?

The campaign must focus on the early states until we can get the free press coverage all the other candidates enjoy...

Unfortunately without strong finishes in Iowa and NH we have nothing. 1st in Iowa blows up the whole "I like Ron Paul but he cant win" notion. Thats worth 5-10% in every other state right off the bat.

What I'm saying is, there are other early states other than those two. We mustn't put our eggs all in one basket (or 2 states)

We really, really, really need to focus everything we've got on Iowa. And to a lesser extent NH, although we will have more time for NH after we win Iowa. But Iowa is of utmost importance, as we have seen evidence that a win is within reach, and a win would galvanize the grassroots, bring in huge fundraising, and provide HUGE momentum going into the later states.

There are offices opening in other states, the campaign is on top of it. The focus is on early states to break the unelectable mold.

110% goes into Iowa now! Without an early win we won't make it to those other states. We need to crush the media meme that Ron is unelectable early. We don't want to limp into the upcoming states running a zombie campaign like in 2008 without a win under our belt.

What the grassroots should do is focus on local TV stations, like with Ben Swann. The guy is going to do a weekly segment on Paul if we get him 10 thousand likes on Facebook. Sort of a you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours type of things. Surely, he's not the only one, we should definitely look into getting coverage in local stations in more early states. At least 10.

Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada

Perry, Cain and Gingrich shot to the lead in less than a month.

Ron Paul will shoot to the lead in less than a month if we win Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada.

As an Iowan that has been working almost endlessly for Paul here, I agree with TC - I do not want to put in all this hard work to win Iowa just to see the campaign fizzle out when other states step up to vote. Let's not assume momentum will carry Paul all the way.

Without an Iowa victory there won't be a campaign fuzzle to fizzle.
