he did good, held his composure and gave great answers...

it's cnn's fault, they purposely and deliberately gave the other candidates more time...

we should say thanks to ron for being very civil and sharing his message..

Some fault does lie with Paul for not standing up to them. We're standing up for him, the least he could do is stand up for us. He needed to call out Anderson. It should have been civil, but he needed to stop him and say, "You said two minutes. Time's up, I'm speaking."

Ron tried to butt in multiple times, there was no way for him to get in without looking like a complete ass because they simply weren't going to let it happen. This is not RP's fault and shouldn't be perceived as reflecting poorly on him.

i really like the way he was civil about it, but yes, i agree with you too,he should've said something, i shudder at the thought if i was in the audience, i think i would've been the 'don't taze me bro part2'

Ron should've stood up for himself when Anderson Douchebag said "I'll ask you that question in a few minutes, I promise" and Ron just trusted him, I would've said "No I'm answering it now, I paid for this microphone!"

Agreed. It was real frustrating watching the debate, but I can't help but think how damaging it would be if he portrayed himself as even more fringe.

True/ But he never said a word about all the qualifications he has in all the areas. He talked about the issues, but never made a statement about himself.

What he should have said was "Anderson, I know you are sort of the leader on this debate, but I am a qualified candidate for the President of the US, I earned the right to be one of 4 men on this stage, and I am going to answer the question NOW, since you have rarely given me the chance to be on TV.

I had everyone that I know watching this tonight. Most are not impressed to say the least. I just spent the last 20 min explaining his positions to them, and showing them youtube videos and ronpaul2008.com

Not helping much. If Dr Paul would have not let anderson interupt him once or twice I know that he would have had much more support and a better 1st or 2nd or 3rd impression (for the people watching the debate with me anyway) than being passive and just kind of showing that he was upset about the way he was being treated.

People seem very persuaded by the media. Go figure. I'm going to get a beer.

Would've, should've, could've doesn't work in the real world. The real world is about 'is', and Ron Paul looked weak tonight. Republicans won't see it as politeness. They'll see it as politeness.

Political correctness aside, Ron Paul just let a gay liberal "journalist" walk all over him. That's not going to go over well with Republicans.
