I was checking things on Suckabee's site; ninja style when I noticed the little nugget of amusement right as I was about to close the tab. A screen shot was definitely in order. So much so that I actually had to learn how to take a screen shot, use my awesome "The Gimp" skillz in case people didn't get it, and created a photobucket account. All so I could share this with my fellow Paulites. Enjoy!

Where do you think I first used The GIMP? I have to share the lappy with the Mrs., and she can barely get around windows. I've tried some of the more user friendly builds, but she's gotta have her damn "Chuzzles" or some such crap. It's kinda like tetris, but the blocks are little fuzzy things; like really brightly colored tribbles from Star Trek. Anyway, she's gotta have that damn game, so I deal with windows. Oh, yeah, I've got a lot of tabs open. I have a.d.d. and I'm always doing like ten things at once.

I'll gladly stop blaspheming GIMPage if someone'll pony up a legal copy of photoshop for me. Until then, The GIMP rulz, 'cause it's freeware.

Do like I do... Run Linux & start up a Windows VMWare session only in absolute emergencies. Runs great, even Visual Studio .NET works perfectly under VMWare. I do this on my work-provided laptop. :D

LOL :D I was mostly just giving you a rough time. I dual boot XP & Suse, because let's face it...Linux is still fighting an uphill battle and there are some things you might just need windows for.
I do the multi-tabbing thing a lot too, especially since getting into Ron Paul, but I have to admit you certainly have me beat there.

TOO FUNNY!! The ONLY thing I miss after I switched over to Vista 64x is my Chuzzle!!!

As I mentioned above, I have a.d.d., so it gets old real quick. I do however enjoy the one where you have to re-arrange them to make a pre-determined pattern; that's kinda cool. Oh yeah! And my absolute favorite thing about that game is clicking on the chuzzles until their hair falls off and they're shivering. Too funny!

To be honest, I love the reliability of Linux, the cost, the open-source-ness, but it's really not there yet as far as practicality goes, and I don't know if it'll ever get there. I've already decided my next machine will be a Mac. I don't care if I have to save for two damn years, I'm getting one. *in best "Wayne" voice* It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine. /Wayne voice
