Yes, but very, very poorly!

The reason I'm so infatuated with the slap and funk players is because I can't slap worth a darn, and marvel at the skill. Some of those guys (especially Bernard Edwards from Chic) have incredible speed and dexterity.

I stay in the realm of alternative rock (Pixies, Social Distortion, The Replacements, Stone Roses, etc.), because the lines are usually simpler and slower.

Zeppelin's one of my all-time favorite bands! I wasn't born 'til '84, but I always loved the old-school jams.

I play bass as well, although my slap skills are limited.
