I called the campaign and vented. I am sorry. But I sacrificed my summer. I've lost friends, I'm still fighting with them now. My husband took his last day off.

I let him know the guy know that I am withdrawing my support if it is moved far away.

get a grip. Its not that hard. IF its moved FAR away... I am sure there are 100s of people that can give you a ride from your hotel... deep breaths... warm bath... its all good.

Speculation at this point. Wait for an official release.

Is this part of another thread previously started? What exactly are you upset about?

Whatever it is, surely it isn't worth getting upset enough to withdraw support?

As a side note: I've contacted the campaign several times to let them know support is beginning to grow for them among father's (& non-custodial parent) rights groups. Its actually the cause that led me to Ron Paul. I've never gotten a response, but to be honest, I don't expect a response. This campaign has much work to do in a very short period of time that seems to be getting shorter by the day (primary dates, etc.).

Maybe this has nothing to do with your frustration, but if you could explain what the problem is maybe someone will have some advice to help you out.

I will say, the campaign needs to fire some people for the better(starting with who runs the website). RonPaul2008.com still has the fundraising for the "October Goal: $4 million". Aren't we in November now?

We don't know what is happening just yet... looks like there are some snags.

Let's wait and see.

:)

Get a grip?

Philly Rally, im sure

Yes...Philly Rally.

We took vacation time and have a NON refundable hotel through priceline. Sorry I won't get a grip until I find out that it will be within decent driving distance. I feel for those who bought plane tickets.

Withdraw your support? I hope not from Ron Paul. Because he's not the one making these decisions, he's just trying to win an election for US.

Oh come on people, We need to realize the campaign has its limits with resources and they are doing their best. I am confused as far as the moving far away thing?

No kidding, the last rumor I heard was that they have over 4,000 emails unanswered. Thats ridiculous, for a national campaign, its unacceptable.

No offense but you shouldn't have let this destroy your friendships. I understand this is important but not as important as friends and family.

Secondly a little more information is needed if you really felt the need to come on here and look for attention, this way at least we would know what your complaining about.

Holy crap, we've all made sacrifices.. I was *this close* from ditching my niece's birthday party and going to the Ron Paul Rally when he was in Chicago, it pissed my wife off and I went to the party in the end.. So yeah I missed what may have been my only chance to see Paul speak in person, but in then end its better than risking my marriage.

Anyways, please find a way to relax.. It's all good.

we have all sacraficed a LOT, i know some that have even sacrificed their relationships. we are thinking of dropping everything to move to NH. please stop worrying about piddly crap, and small changes. this isn't a scheduled activity this is a grassroots campaign. if things change you make more sacrifices and change with them

how big of a sacrifice is your summer when if certain candidates get in office you will be sacrificing your life, your future, at least in the US... when thinking of how hard it will be to disrupt our nice little life we have built for our child, I said... whats easier, move to new hampshire now or move to argentina after the election?

we are all making sacrifices, changing our lives, changing our plans. its unnecessary to vent at the campaign who has WAY too many negative calls and emails right now about the stupidest shit. the people answering these phones are pulling their hairs out with all the negative calls. PLEASE PLEASE only call the campaign if its important not just to vent

Sure you feel hurt and angry but let's wait and see what is going on.

I find it rather odd that it would be moved so close to the date. Something else is at work here. Let's not assume it is all about the campaign's doing.

When you have a public rally, there is a lot of politics involved. Moreover, Dr. Paul is a threat to the establishment in many ways. Could it be they might want to thwart his campaign by intervening somehow? Possibly but I don't know.

Let's hold our breath and wait...

;)

We have all made sacrafices, and will continue to sacrafice until this campaign is over, come hell or high water. The friends you lost were not real friends, they were only fair weather friends. You will gain many more true blue friends by sticking with the campaign and fighting for your beliefs. This is only a rally - not the election. If the rally is moved, you will have to be a little more flexible about it. Ron Paul is our only hope. You have to keep saying that to yourself.

Stop fighting with your "friends" join a local meetup and make yourself some new friends.

Your husband can change his day off if he has to, can't he? That isn't set in stone or carved in granite is it?

It is unfortunate that things happen, but they do from time to time.

Someone posted that they may have changed venues due to security. I am less worried about security for the Ron Paul voting base than I am for Dr. Paul's personal security - his message and our support is making a LOT of pwerful and influentional people very nervous and angry now. I hope Dr. Paul's body guards are able to do the job he has hired them to do!
