I worked for Ron Paul, in his Washington D.C. office, in 1998-99, seeing him almost every day, and saw absolutely no indication of him being racist, and in fact, I saw many reasons to know he is not racist. I am of Hispanic decent, and quite proud of it. My family on my mother’s side were migrant farm workers and my Great-Grandfather even rode with Pancho Villa. I am also part American-Indian. That heritage not only makes it rather difficult for anyone to smear me as somehow being a white racist (which is good for me if I am ever foolish enough to run for office), but also cuts against Ron Paul's supposed "ties" with white supremacists and this latest smear campaign based on what some employee of his wrote fifteen years ago.

Yeah... it's just too bad that stuff was published under his name. He is the only candidate that is really pushing for true equality out there.

He is not. WE ARE FREAKING OUT, that same thing the Mainstream media wants us to do. We are creating this issue ourself by talking more about it.

grow some brain cells and stop.

Here is another article:

We need MORE articles like this and black people to go public and say they support Ron Paul, especially if they know him and/or have worked with him.

 NO we don't.

WHY ARE WE MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF THIS?

If a news company posts 1 article, we post 2,000 new articles saying he Paul isn't a racist.

Don't you understand? We are the ones making a big fuss out of this! When someone searches Ron Paul racist on google, it will come up... a lot. It's a big turn off. We need to stop talking about this and creating new articles. No one trusts the internet. I can say I word for Ron Paul too.

These smears have been on TV and placed highly on google news. It is important that the public hears the other point of view. (I'm referring to the internet public, not the average person.)

It's probably better to avoid the negative articles altogether, but if you do stumble upon one, you can respond with the Mexican-American article.

Remember, it's not just the pro-Paul people who search for information about Paul. There are also a substantial number of anti-Paul people who will circulate any negative information to others.

Ron Paul wants to pardon the non-violent drug offenders which is made up of mostly minorities. Ron Paul is the anti-racist. Considering that, those who wish to continue the drug war which destroys families, are the real racists. Like others have said, Ron Paul would free more blacks than Lincoln.

It would be great if we had an ad with your story on TV. It would certainly help to end this lie about Dr. Paul being a racist.

WHY ARE WE MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF THIS?
Because this story hurts the cause of freedom. We can't just bury it like a negative story on digg. Paul didn't act properly back when the newsletters came out (no oversight), didn't properly act when it was brought to his attention in 1996 (followed political advisors who told him he couldn't deny he wrote the stories), and is not yet properly acting now when the story reemerged (hasn't denounced the articles strongly enough, and hasn't explained what he did back in 1996 when he heard about the bigoted articles).
