HUMOR: "What I think I do" pic for Libertarians floating around FB!

Made one for Anarchists. Spread it.

Haha, great.

I don't believe Anarchy is capable of staying as Anarchy. Doesn't it usually evolve into an Oligarchy?

as heavenlyboy said, this was off topic, but here is a response.

What an-caps/voluntaryists are trying to do is make society in general understand that the state is illegitimate and unethical, because that is necessary to reach a stateless society and keep it.

Society has already accepted that the initiation of force against your neighbor is wrong. No one says it is ok to steal from you neighbor or take him/her and put them in a cage. Likewise, society has already accepted that self-ownership exists (i.e. that slavery is unethical). The next step is to make people realize that government requires the initiation of force and removal of self-ownership.

Once we are able to get people to eliminate their serious case of double think when it comes to ethics, they will not allow anyone to start a state, just as they already would not allow anyone to own slaves, or steal from people, or put neighbors in cages. People would stand up if people attempted things they deem unethical.

At various points along my journey, I've done a bit of all six of those things! :D

But what if the society was so dumbed down that none of that actually mattered anymore? Just look at the TV shows people find acceptable to let there children watch.

Well, that's sort of the point. If you 'dumb down' people enough, they don't really care about oppression as long as they get their Soma. But that doesn't mean we just give up, pop some ourselves, and go to sleep.

Think of it as a war for mindshare; or, as the matrix put it, that our current society is a 'prison for the minds'. We're trying to break people free.

Which.... usually ends up looking like the last picture in both of those images.

This is wayyy off topic, but the same argument can just as easily be made against minarchy.
