OK, all you creative types, put on your thinking caps and contribute to this thread.

Here is the deal.

Brad Wyatt is a great American and a big time supporter of Ron Paul. All liberty oriented people in Worcester know of his contributions.
His multi generational family business used to make saws for cutting cement and concrete. It was a large healthy business employeing hundreds of people based in Worcester, MA that was started by his grandfather in the early 1900's. The Company also made rail cars and war materiel during its history. Ultimately, subsidized Chinese competition drove Brad to sell the business since it became unattractive. This set back led Brad to research Ron Paul and he became a whole hog believer. The business was housed ina a large, solid concrete building that was built by Brad's grandfather in 1914 and has a 20,000 square foot foot print and is 9 stories tall. Brad generously has lent the unused portion of the building to a large number of liberty oriented groups and he has held Ron Paul events in the building.

I knew of Brad, but did not know him personally until he sent me an email recently. Brad pointed out that his building sits right next to the major North/South highway in Worcester, I - 290. Multiple thousands of cars pass his building every day in the morning and evening as people commute to and from work up and down I-290. At the point where I-290 passes Brad's building it is elevated so people literally stair at two sides of his building as they sit in rush hour traffic. Brad would like to put up billboards on the building but the corrupt city of Worcester folks will not let him do so even though there are many other billboards near by. (they are grandfathered). Also, in renting his building Brad has to compete with other old buildings that have been renovated using US Federal subsidies and funds. So, needless to say, Brad is not too excited about Government in general. He is one of us.

What Brad would like to do is make a couple of large vinyl signs and hang them from each side of the building in support of Ron Paul. The local authorities may challenge him, but he thinks that he will be protected under freedom of speech. The cost will be several thousand dollars in materials (the sign maker is a Ron Paul supporter and will work for free ) and I have agreed to cover the costs. The idea would be to create two signs and to hang them from now until the election in 2012. I think we would get a lot of publicity and certainly a lot of eyeballs would see the signs.

But, we need a message.

IMHO i think we should be aggressive and edgy. Not just Ron Paul, Freedom kind of stuff.

I think this fight is now at the point where we should take it too the other side aggressively. So,

Here are a few of my ideas, I am sure people on this forum can do better. Have at it.

HAD ENOUGH?
GOOGLE RON PAUL

IN A TIME OF UNIVERSAL DECEIT TELLING THE TRUTH IS A TREASONOUS ACT-- GEORGE ORWELL

As mentioned in the below video what we really need to do is reach out to the early adopters in order to reach the tipping point and get a hold of the big mo. People are inspired in what someone believes and what they believe about themselves. The following also has a great example with MLK, whole discussion starts around 11:00.

The 15% tipping point concept follows the Law of Diffusion of Innovations;

2 1/2% = innovators
13 1/2 % = early adopters
34% = early majority
34% = late majority
16% = laggards

Shown here at 11:00 minute mark, explains further the gap between 10-15%:

How large would these signs be and what is the viewing distance? I drive this rode fairly often and think I know which buildings you are referring to. You always want to keep in mind maximum visibility. A call to action would be great:

SAVE THE ECONOMY
VOTE RON PAUL
REPUBLICAN PRIMARY

NO NEW DEBT
NO NEW TAXES
RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT

I don't like these two suggestions:

A NATION OF LAWS AND FAIRNESS
NOT A KLEPTOCRACY
RON PAUL

END THE FED
KILL THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENT
FREE THE PEOPLE
IMPRISON THE BANKSTERS
RON PAUL

Most people don't know what kleptocracy is and won't bother to find out, the neocons are defending the bankers right now so we'd put them off by suggesting they be imprisoned. I like any of the other suggestions though.

Apathy is cancer.
Freedom is the cure.
Vote ron paul in 2012.

Average voters do not understand that the dollar is in peril. If we could raise the conversation to that level...

Imagine asking any candidate, "What is your plan to save the dollar?"

This conversation could help us trend the conversation in the direction of the structural problems that we have and realizing that just reducing taxes and regulations is not going to do it.

I suggest:

PREVENT A DOLLAR COLLAPSE
PRESIDENT PAUL 2012

SAVE THE DOLLAR
VOTE RON PAUL

PRESERVE YOUR RETIREMENT
VOTE RON PAUL 2012

Ron said something in an Iowan appearance that might make a good quote, to combat the pretense of 'let patients die' and the confusion on his social security position. It was about bringing the money back from overseas because 'we need to take care of our own'. I think that would sell, honestly.

I think that we need to talk to the average person. Sometimes too edgy might scare people, even though it makes sense to us.

How about:

Ron Paul WILL END these useless WARS.
Everyone else is the status quo.

Afghanistan = 10 years
Iraq = 8 years
Libya, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen = Obama's wars

Come home NOW = only RON PAUL

Depending on your geography, "Obey the Constitution" is really big. It is in NC, although I may be responsible for some of that myself.

I like TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN

TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN
NO MORE MONEY FOR
FOREIGN INFRASTRUCTURE
FOREIGN BANKS
BANKRUPT CORPORATIONS

Ron Paul:
The Change You Wanted

It sounds like a Blue kind of town. Thus, I vote for this one. Perhaps even with one of the websites that may be geared towards left-thinking individuals.

BTW ... llepard ... if you get a chance, I'd like to hear some of your thoughts on the PM volatility as of late. Please chime into one of the threads or start a new one!
