Someone get the word to Huck's army that he backstabbed on us CNN for our hospitality.

He said that it was down to 3 Republicans and that McCain supporter gave him the win.

I wouldn't get to uppity about it. It is obvious that McCain supporters fell in line behind Huck too.

Because in round two, Huckabees people made a deal with Paul's people that they would vote Huckabee in round two in exchange for 3 delegates.

How it works is that 3 of Huck's delegates will resign, and they will appoint 3 RP people in their stead.

I see, but how do we know Huck's people will keep up their end of the bargain?

Frist off...

It looks like 164 of 176 McCain supporters went for Huckabee.

28 of 118 Ron Paul supporters went for Huckabee.

57 Ron Paul supporters went for Romney.

Another 33 Ron Paul supporters walked out of West Virginia Caucuses in protest.

That means the Paulites delivered Romney 57-28= 29 votes in West Virginia.

Some people were blaming the Paulites in the other thread…but Paul contributed a net +29 votes to Romney.

So this is not the fault of the Paulites. It was the McCain people being organized and knowing to back Huckabee.



Second off.....


If Huckabee drops out he will endorse McCain and all Huck delegates are by default going to McCain...

So that's dumb!

It should be noted that Romney's people offered the same deal. By taking Huckabee up on the offer, we helped break some of Romney's momentum going into Super Tuesday.

Romney is out there now shedding crocodile tears about "back room deals" in WV, but everyone needs to know he was trying to play the same game. What a sore loser...
