Huck's Army thanks RP's supporters for WV Win...

Short answer: It was a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Good job WV Ron Paul supporters, and thanks to the Huck guys for the opportunity.

Personally, I would not support any other candidate. If I could not vote for Ron Paul as a delegate I would not vote for anyone.

Now you are trolling again Menthol.

We need a bargaining chip for the convention just to watch them beg.

Ron could threaten them with 3rd party aswell.

thanks to Hucks people.

Politics isn't about turning up your nose, it's about winning.

It's not how hard you can hit, it's how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
THAT'S HOW WINNING IS DONE!!!

Because RP got eliminated after the first round of voting, so they had to vote for somebody. By voting for Huck it gave him the majority and splits up the delegates even more, contributing toward a brokered convention.

EXACTLY!! and this way we stay in! All any candidate has to do is FALL ONE DELEGATE SHORT and you don't get the nomination=Brokered Convention.
:)

I dont think you understand yet. Ron was eliminated. We had to cast our votes for someone, and thus did so in a strategic move to take 3 delegates.

Wow this is strange news Hannity kept saying how McCain gave the majority swing to Huckabee, nice to know it was the Ron Paul delegates to give Huck the swing.

I have a couple questions --

What does it mean "Ron Paul Got Eliminated in the First Round."??????

Why did some Ron Paul supporters walk out in protest????

:confused::confused::confused:

If no one get's more than 50% of the vote, the lowest vote getter is eliminated, and they redo the vote.

Sorry for not seeing the obvious, but how did we get 3 delegates if our guys voted for Huck after the first round?

Someone get the word to Huck's army that he backstabbed on us CNN for our hospitality.

He said that it was down to 3 Republicans and that McCain supporter gave him the win.

Because in round two, Huckabees people made a deal with Paul's people that they would vote Huckabee in round two in exchange for 3 delegates.

How it works is that 3 of Huck's delegates will resign, and they will appoint 3 RP people in their stead.

obviously people don't like to read here... let's get the facts right:

1. People voted for Ron in first Round, he only got 10%.
2. By WV rules, noone got 51%, so the bottom person is eliminated and they Re-Vote
3. Paul Supporters wanted some delegates so they brokered a deal with Huck to get 3 delegates for supporting him, he wins with 51%.

Facts:
- Some Paul supporters left in protest. (Bad move people, by doing what we did, we won more.. if you stayed, we could have possibly got more delegates).
- Some other supporters voted for Romney.

The reason the vote was for Huck was to split delegates as much as possible so that there is a brokered convention. We need to encourage Huck to stay in it for as long as possible.

Supporters that are delegate voters: Know the rules, ask questions, make deals. Don't be immature and look like a baby, it will get you no where.

However, Huckabee made a bad move not thanking us.
