Huckabee suggests suicide for Paul

My brother asked him quite a baited question last Friday when he was in Dubuque. Basically, he asked him, "Being that you were an asterick in the polls, and that after you met with the Council on Foreign Relations that has changed, what is your impression of the Council on Foreign Relations?"

And as usual, Huckabee opens his mouth and betrays himself.

First he said that him and Richard Haass(President of Council on Foreign Relations) are close friends, and then he goes on to say that a lot of people misunderstand the Council on Foreign Relations and says that Richard Haass believes strongly in national sovereignty and on and on. Well, here are some quotes from Richard Haass:

"... states must be prepared to cede some sovereignty to world bodies if the international system is to function."

"Some governments are prepared to give up elements of sovereignty to address the threat of global climate change."

"... sovereignty must be redefined if states are to cope with globalization."

"Globalization thus implies that sovereignty... needs to become weaker."

"States would be wise to weaken sovereignty in order to protect themselves..."

So, if he's elected as President and after repeated attempts at getting some pet project pushed through Congress and the House he continues to fail, is he going to sit in a hot tub of water with some razor blades and slit his wrists? And aren't most Christians opposed to suicide? Isn't it commonly thought that one goes to hell, or something like that, if you commit suicide? What a hypocrit!

This video needs to get wide circulation so that Huckabee's fundamentalist Christian supporters - and the rest of his supporters - realize what this guy is really like.

Somebody needs to ask Huckabee if he told Hagee that Jesus is the Messiah.

Hagee tells his followers that Jesus was not the Messiah, and Hagee and his followers want a pre-emptive strike on Iran.

The word "Christ" means "Messiah."

So did Huckabee set Hagee straight that Jesus IS the Messiah? And, did Huckabee remind Hagee that the second commandment of Jesus is to Love your neighbor as yourself?

If the Christians hear that Huckabee is siding with someone who doesn't think Jesus is the Messiah, that might give them pause about this so-called "Christian" candidate.

The Bible tells us, "By their fruit, you will know them."

The fact that Huckabee is being endorsed by Hagee means he is seen by this group as a war candidate because this group wants war.

That's kind of sick if you ask me. One of my very close relatives was a former minister And committed suicide, and during the Christmas season. Any candidate who brings up sitting in a warm tub of water with razor blades is just Sick. I have seen first-hand people do just that and it is not what you want to see.
