Huckabee makes me sick to my stomach

Um, just because a lot of evangelicals support Huckabee does give you a right to paint all Christians or an organized church a certain way. Sorry to inject some sense into some of these posts.

cnn was talking about the huge numbers of people who showed up without any idea who they were going to vote for until that day. 60% said they decided on huckabee. ONE F*CKIN DAY OF RESEARCH! It doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

Don't worry folks -- Huckabee's campaign will fizzle out. I am certain that if the Republicans run Huckabee, there will be a Democrat in the White House in 2009. Perhaps that outcome will wise up the Republicans who support folks such as Huckabee, but hopefully it won't come to that, and this country will see President Paul in the White House instead. Keep your eyes on that goal!

I've never met, seen, or even heard of a huckabee supporter here in CA. In fact he's the only candidate I haven't even seen a bumper sticker for.

His support is strictly with the evangelicals who obviously dominate Iowa. He won't win and will get destroyed in NH.

I'm an atheist, and thus no fan of Huckabee's jesus-wrapped campaign.

However, I want to point out to all Ron Paul supporters that we should be reaching out to Huck's supporters. Huck has no money, and it's unlikely that he will be a viable national candidate in the long run. All those people currently supporting Huckleberry head will be looking for a home, and we should be pointing out the reasons why they can get behind Paul.

Dont give up on the republican party yet. Most people have spent 2 minutes looking at the candidates on the news or in a newspaper summary.

We have to educate them, and then drive them to the damn polling place.

And third party is just the way to complain with no chance of actually winning anything for the most part. You think RP is marginalized now? If he goes third party he will be the the libertarian minded Congressman that actually IS a libertarian. Game over.

I am a strong, conservative Christian. And I find Huckabee very scary. It is very sad that so many Christians will follow Huckabee, just because he says he is one of them (and never look at Huckabee's actions to see if his actions line up with Christ's teachings.) But then, to many people, Christianity is a label, a social club.

Huckabee is scary, but I am confident that even if he gets the nomination, he would never win the actual election. He has way to many skeletons in his closet, ethical convictions, etc. Plus, he is a liberal--why would anyone vote for a liberal in Republican clothes, when they can vote for a real liberal under the Democrat ticket?

guys we have to turn our rage into productive work for Ron Paul. Please turn out to vote and canvass. if anything this iowa caucus has taught us that we afford to miss a single opportunity to spread the message.. please do not assume that there is always someone else to do the work while you give moral support. it seems a lot of people are assuming that and its working against us. set aside all that is stopping you from talking to real potential voters about ron paul so that we can be successful

Amen to that.....I mean seriously, he waves a bible around and people go for it?? Have they researched this man AT ALL? Do they know about all the hard-drives he destroyed after he left office, the rapist he pardoned because of political pressure that raped and killed more women, the tax-payer dollars he spent on himself, or the ridiculous amount of gifts he accepted as governer?

Seriously, if you believe in the coming of the anti-christ, he is probably going to be waving a bible around so he can attract all the sheep to his cause. I don't think Huck is the anti-christ, but he sure is against Jesus. I wish these people weren't so uninformed.....not stupid, just horribly, horribly uninformed.

I agree.

I'm starting to think that there are a lot of others out there who never look at this fourm who carry us. It seems that very few of us are actually interested in getting others to vote.

Lets think about winning.
