CNN/old GOP is pushing this, WTF is going on here . If the republican party pushes huckabee as the future of the party . I can tell you i will remove the r from my name so quick. WTF Huckabee the future of the republican party....

Are the republicans trying to drive us(republicans) from the party WTF ,this is insane....
Republican Party is throwing this election and the future of their own party..:eek:

I know...I caught it. Also, people have been saying there are no real conservatives blah blah blah...it just makes me angry
 
My colorado county caucus is on the 7th(i expect to be pushed out of the state process by the mccain/drones of the republican party and the drones of romney and others bababa to mccain). I'm almost speechless over this??? ooo well ,i guess we watch the gop die and help pick up the pieces after the general election .The gop is deaf dumb and blind and they just dont get it?

They may be pushing this but at this snippet in time, WE are the future of the republican party. It's not glamorous nor is it always fun. But the party is ripe for "taking over", which should actually be called taking back, and it starts at the local level.

There are plenty of examples right here on this board of RPF members becoming committee chairs, passing resolutions, and making other significant changes in their local committees.

There is a lot of grumbling and disgust among conservative republicans. They KNOW they've been hijacked but they really don't know what hit 'em and many are afraid to speak up. So, stand up, speak out and effect change. I think you'll be surprised at the positive response you'll get (I was!).

Focus on their stated principles, leave the controversial issues aside, and you'll have many of them eating out of your hand.

Ron Paul has mentioned several times recently that fellow congressmen, who have before now just been barely polite to him, are now coming to him to find out what all the fuss is about. We HAVE already made a HUGE impact. Ron Paul has an opportunity to educate them; we have an opportunity to educate local republicans. It's a challenge, for sure but nobody ever promised that this would be easy. In this r3VOLution, there is no such thing as instant gratification. It's one small battle at a time.

There may very well be a point in the future that we need to make a mass exodus from the party but that time is not now.

we dont drink and we dont smoke norfolk norfolk:):) sorry im from va beach/norfolk ,not sure you ever heard that chant but thought you might laugh...

It was the parting of the red sea when i registered republican almost 12 months ago. My loyalty is to the message not the party. It is really up to the republican party if they want my vote. I will continue to be a republican ,but i will never vote for mccain or huckabee,so i think thats what we should be shouting loud and clear with pitchforks and torches in hand AT THE CONVENTION( sarcasm on the pitchforks and torches;) . I know who im voting for in the general election;) Ron Paul 2008:)
 
This is what i have said all along, McWar stands no chance to beat Osama or Hitllary, Huckabee can and will give them both a good fight, Ron Paul to them is not the Republican they want so they have no option but to push Huckster now...

Haha, never heard that chant (I'm a transplant from Kentucky) but it would certainly apply to the latest local effort for the cities to ban smoking in restaurants.

My loyalty is also to the message and absolutely NOT the party. They either change their ways back to their stated message, which agrees with Ron Paul, or I'm outta there. There is no compromise for me. As I've said before, I'm voting for Ron Paul if I have to take my sharpie and write his name on the screen of the diebold machine :p

(my baby brother and one of my girlfriends live in CO and are into snowboarding)
 
You can certainly tell which direction our "elected representatives" want us to go.....

Don't EVER remove the R from your name!!

Ron Paul has it right....only way to have a chance at influencing the nation overall is to do so through one of the main parties.

I think recent republican failures can only open up more for a more libertarian change in the Republican party.....
 
LOL @ those ready to leave the party just because the MSM says Huckabee is the future.

Look around. We're the future.
