Huckabee Campaign says RP supporters are playing Dirty Tricks

Did the culprits identify themselves as Ron Paul supporters? That would be conclusive evidence it was not Ron Paul supporters.

they had ron paul t-shirts on and kept saying

"rouge ron paul supporters UNITE!"

about that time they all rocketed into the air for a quick getaway.

Huck's supporters are our friends against the media.

Not they aren't. They were more than happy when Ron Paul was being ignored and Huckster was paying reporters to follow him around on the campaign trail and give him coverage.

They wouldn't complain ONE BIT if Huckster was still getting coverage and Ron Paul was not. That is not a friend, that is just somebody that happens to be in the same position and now wants to be friends.

They are welcome to support and vote for Ron Paul; but I would never support or vote for their guy -- I have my standards.

It was posted on a message board people and then the news media grabbed it? no one sees something wrong with that at all?

Zyphlin, I will assume you as a huck fan but hey could be wrong,

Either way, why would the huckster need to make huge public statements to get the free press time due to someone posting something in a message board? Wouldn't the local huck fans ALSO have been at the WRONG location as well if they ALL looked at the same thing?

And if not why wouldn't they double check this so called "change of plans" with the local huck fan support admin?

If you want to take this as FACT go for it but at least ask a few questions before.....

Actually after the last debate I gave into the fact that the amount of things I agree with Ron Paul outweigh the things I disagree with him strongly on and the things about a large number of his supporters that drive me crazy.

And I think the Huckabee campaign is making far to huge of a deal out of what is for the most part a minor issue.

I was just saying it wouldn't be the first time supporters of Ron Paul did something purposefully and gleefully to confuse Huckabee supporters or people trying to get information about him and thus, it wouldn't really surprise me if it was true.

You weren't here last night, I take it?

We have received many overtures from Huck supporters who are now having the scales drop from their eyes about the media, since the last debate.

If you were media, believe me, that would terrify you.

Keep those sheep reactive, not proactive. And, whatever you do, don't let Huck supporters and Ron Paul supporters come together for a common cause because now you are looking at a huge group, most of them Christians!

I was here and they suggested that Ron Paul and Huckabee do an ad together?! Please. Huckabee has lied and twisted his way through this election cycle and was propped up by this media that they all of a sudden dislike? Maybe they should pull the wool back from their eyes and look at Huckabee first.

All it is, is Huck supporters trying to grab onto our coattails now. They can vote for Ron Paul and support him, but Huckabee has nothing I want or support.

specsaregood,

you need to read what was said because I think you are assuming we were going to skip to the white house together holding hands lol.

What happened was they realized what media bias was, researched it and are OVER HERE now supporting ron paul.

That has ZERO to do with us supporting the huckster in the least bit. Many hucksters are coming over HERE to support ron paul as well as of course many hoping we would help get the media bias stopped.

No one is saying that we are trying to help them AT ALL but many of them now have their EYES OPEN and are joining our ranks with the man who is actually trying to fight for OUR FREEDOM.

Of course the huckster himself is happy to talk about a 3 man race or even a two man race between just him and mccain. His supporters however are seeing how one sided their guy really is ONCE it is HIM left out. He could care less about ron pauls coverage as long as HE gets some.

I think his supporters are realizing how biased their own candidate is being BUT of course there are plenty of those hucksters who could care less about what happens to ron paul but since we know how to get things done they were hoping we would help THEIR candidate but of course that wont happen.

They wanted to vent and get mad understandable, but sure enough the next day someone tosses a "rouge" ron paul conspiracy up and they were quick to jump ship once again. I think it is a great tactic to try and slow down the hucksters sinking ship but I hope his huck fans start to realize what is really going on today.......

Ron Paul or NO ONE.

Why would we do something dishonest like that when we can circulate a true Newsweek article about his son torturing and hanging a dog. If we want to play dirty we can do it by simply spreading the truth. No need for misdirection or lies.

It reminds me of when Morton Downey Jr. faked his owned beating in an airport restroom.

Are you refering to mikehuckabeeforum.com ?

Indeed I am

Please provide proof that, that site is run by Ron Paul people?

That site and fredthompsonforum.com and rudygiuilaniforum.com and others are all hosted/ran by the same people. There was never a coordinated effort to mislead anybody by Ron Paul supporters. True, the sites did become satirical but it was never a Ron Paul supporter effort.

You know what else is ran by the same people?

www.ronpaulforum.com

A legit Ron Paul forum registered to the same address as all the rest of them. A Ron Paul forum that first deleted a post without any indication to me that I had made there asking for clarification on the fact that they're registered the same, and then after my second post asking again my account was suspended and my posts made unreadable.

Along with this, a Private Message from one of the admin over there to a fellow poster on my main political board (who is a Ron Paul fan, who found the mike site, posted it before investigating fully, and said it was a low tactic no matter whose supporters did it) after he made a post, stating this:

"Good post on the "Grasroots" troll forum, where only idiots post pro-Huck sentiments in truth.

ALL paleoconservative voters support Ron Paul and intend to cast their vote for him in the Primaries.

Best wishes to you and yours, citizen.

Help us rid the Earth of Straussian fools and their protofascist minions.

Put in a vote for RP in the primary election."

I've yet to have anyone post me any proof that refuting any of the stuff. They deteled my post and then suspended me at ronpaulforum, and i got insulted for asking the question in the thread about it on this one.

LOL. You would have gotten the exact same type of message if you posted a pro ron paul comment on the huckabee forum! They would have banned you and same for the fredthompsonforum! All of those are spoof sites. And was never part of the Ron Paul grassroots efforts. :)

The owner of those sites may be an obama or hillary supporter.

Have you read the RonPaulForum.com website?

Unlike the Huck and other forums, it reads like a legit site. Alll the pro-ron paul posts there are actual pro ron paul posts...not "pro" posts that basically insult him at the exact same time, like the Huck forum.

And no, initial Ron Paul posts on the huck forum aren't just banned and definitely not deleted. They're left up, followed by a ton of "Huck" fans insulting the poster about how horrible Ron Paul is by basically pointing out good features of Ron Paul or parroting very very very extreme and untrue positions against him.

The two don't come close to comparing

The huckster was just on c-span right now and all he had to keep talking about was that this is STILL a 3 man race and will soon be a 2 man race between him and mccain.

I wouldn't be suprised if the huckster was just trying to tank ron paul with this b.s. because he does everything BUT mention ron paul everywhere he goes.

IN todays meeting in S.F. he talked about

mittens romney
mccain
guiliani
fred thompson
and even duncan hunter

Sure he wants "equal" what again? lol only time he mentions ron paul is when he is trying to paint his supporters as rouge special agents or whatever the hell he was trying to do.

Either way, whether it was a rp, huckster or even simply the media trying to tank BOTH of our candidates who knows.

All that matters is that we have too many trolls in our forums and I hope they WAKE UP and realize what is going on.

That is because there are so many web-savvy ron paul people that they took it over and made it legit of sorts.

Maybe pro-paul stuff on the huck forum didn't get you banned initially, but I know it did on the fredthompson forum (run by the same people).

But then again the OFFICIAL hucksarmy forum WILL ban you for posting pro-paul stuff, so in many ways that is worse than a satire site doing it.

See, there's a problem with "taking it over"...you can't really "take over a forum" if the administrator doesn't want you to. Shut the sight down, ban people, delete threads, etc. Though, if you've got any kind of actual proof that it started as a hoax site as well and out of the kindness of the owners heart he allowed Ron Paul fans to start using it as a fully legit site, going so far as to remove threads that speak about the other forums in the processes (meaning that while its became a legit ron paul site...as you suggest...the administrator is still active enough in it to let that happen and yet still be doing the "hoaxy" stuff.)then I'll happily believe you.

For the time being, between the PM sent from the huckabee forum's admin, the response i got on the paul forum, and the registration address, it all points to a Paul supporter to me as I've seen nothing on the ronpaulforum to suggest it ever was a hoax site.

I don't think Ron Paul supporters are responsible and even if they were Huckabee supporters are not innocent. Don't forget about all the pushpolling done by his supporters.
