Huckabee Broke and Gives Up in Florida?

Definitely...

Its about time he comes to realize that he is not going to go anywhere with his evangelic liberal platform..

Another evidence for inevitable early drop out is that I don't see his face as much as I used to see in the media also...

I saw on these forums that he has already raised a few million thi quarter. Is that wrong?

McCain and Romney are the only ones both guaranteed to go the distance (and our guy of course)

It's going to come down to Romney and his $200 million backer (himself).

Though...Ron Paul has $1 million in gold...maybe by Feb 5th they will both have the same amount of money.

Yeah from what i've been catching on the news McCain is the new media darling with Romney right behind.

I'll be so glad to see these guys get weeded out. Do you know how much bigger Ron's voice becomes solely due to others dropping out?!? It's going to be a huge effect.

He has raised a couple million so far this quarter. And he raised something like six million in the last quarter of 2007. Now, when you consider that
- Ron Paul raised three times that ($23 million vs $8 million) in that same time frame
- Ron Paul started Q4 2007 with $5 million in the bank, vs chicken feed for Huckabee
- Paul's campaign has been frugal, and yet (despite this 3+:1 advantage over Huckabee) is still starting to run into significant financial limitations and tough choices

... you can start to see that, yes, Huckabee is woefully underfunded. He has to depend on his grassroots, which he does have - but they are I think geographically more clustered in the South than our grassroots, and less organized overall. He certainly doesn't have the money to organize and run a national campaign without a vast amount of outside help.

Huck is spending the money as fast as it comes in. That's why he's running on fumes now. SC was his last stand, but he lost. Now he's going to cruise through southern states trying to get religious and redneck votes, then drop out after Feb "with honor."

Huck is a weirdo, but I don't hate him the way I hate McCain.

Provided Julie Annie's behind gets kicked in FL, I can see that the race will boil down to Dr.Paul, Romney and McCain soon after Super Tuesday...

This is great news. We just have to work extremely hard to get enough delegates on Super Tuesday so that the race is still anyone's game and we have a chance to win!

Does anyone get the feeling that things are shifting in our direction here...

The Roe Endorsement should help in florida and a blimp bump down their

The Next 2 debates should be economy orientated- Ron is bound to have a few dingers in those debates

Western states voting on the 5th

Feb 5th states wont have been flooded with mcromleysonbee ads so people might just do their own research into the candidates.

Im feelin pretty optimistic here folks!

I feel that way but about Romney and McCain. Romney freaks me out and I think he's fake. But McCain scares the crap out of me and I loathe him in a way I only reserve for the worst of criminals.

McCain loves war, loves joking about war, like its no big deal. I have a 2 year old daughter and when he makes jokes about more war, I take it personally, as a snub against my daughter and her future.
