I think Huckabee is actively seeking a vp ticket with McCain. He does not attack McCain, and cleared Romney for McCain. Hell, McCain is the oldest president and might die in office. Either way, I see this situation as win-win for Huckabee.

But only 5% of results are in. For all we know, these could be from Lynchburg or another pro-Huck part of the state. Wait until the Northern Virginia results come in, they may quickly diminish any lead Huck may have.

I had my Ron Paul t-shirt on yesterday and i had 7-8 people ask why i was wearing it since he had dropped out. Yeah i knew that these are the people who are destroying america with their ignorance.

it's very tight now, which isn't good. we need McCain to stay under 40% in all of the remaining primaries, otherwise he'll surpass the delegate total needed to lock up the nomination.

That GOP convention would consist of 45% warmongers, 45% folks who'd strip freedoms from the Constitution, and (on the premise in the OP), 10% people who believe in freedom and liberty. While we'd have a small chance of getting Paul in via such a convention, the larger probability would be a result that stripped even more freedom and liberty from the American people. I personally feel Dr. Paul's goals would be better served by keeping people away from Huckabee and bringing them to Dr. Paul.

Man, I wish we could get people to cast their anti-McCain protest votes for Rep. Paul. After all, how is voting for McCain's newest buddy a protest?

Yep, and I'm here watching the results come in. It looks like a lot of people did take the advice though, counter even to what HQ said to do. Ron was polling into this around or over 8%. He's going to come out around 4%. Thank you that 4% who possibly edged us towards a brokered convention.
