Because we had to, Ron Paul wasn't an option in the 2nd round of voting, this gets us some national delegates to the national convention.

No Paul supporter walked out of the convention coverted to Huckabee, we just did what we had to do to get some delegates to the national convention.

Don't the Rep. rules say to win at a brokered convention, you need to have won 5 primaries?

OMG. Please read the rules yourself. It says you need to demonstrate support from five states, to have your name entered into consideration. So, for example, if the delegates cant decide, five southern states could all enter Newt Gingriches name.

reallly??? i hope this is true that we don't need 5 first places. do candidates get eliminated each round in the national convention like in WV? or will ron be available to recieve votes even after the first or second round if he comes in last?
