How's He Doing?

Too soon to tell...

Right now, it's all temporary posturing... But if he starts the recission process or, even better, impoundment, it'll be more than a start.

Don't like the tariff policy, nor the rhetoric WRT Gaza/Israel, but we'll see...

Grade so far is "I" for incomplete.

Trump 2.0 : Trump 1.0 :: Whirlwind : Rollercoaster

I really think the assassination attempts have helped Trump focus on what is important. He isn't playing games with the media so much these days as just working to get things done.

If we're grading on a curve he gets a solid A+

Otherwise I'll give him a B+

Of course he needs to maintain this pace if he wants to keep this grade at end of semester

I am very happy so far. All of D.C. is being shook up. Corruption and money laundering is being exposed. These are important 1st step is getting the public on board with massive cuts like Argentian has done.

The new Secretaries are not swamp creatures. Work is happening at a frantic pace. Democrat politicians and media employees are on the outs with the public.

Things are looking bad for communism!

Bloviating and blustering? Nothing really fundamental or substantive has changed nor is it likely to. But folks can take a few “victory” laps if it makes them feel good. In the end though, four years from now, in all likelihood, they’ll be worse off than they are now.

I consider pissing off the Left to be substantive, and on that matter he continues to expertly deliver

Well, you can “consider” all you like but your considerations do not necessarily equate with reality. Here in reality none of us, so far, are the slightest little bit less slaves to these political cretins than we were before Trump’s election, nor are we likely to become so any time soon.

But enjoy the show, by all means.

I disagree. Every ounce of division he creates, is a foot closer to freedom.

Just need to continue to nourish and foster that division so it eventually bears fruit

I share this empty feeling. It's like eating skittles. They taste sweet, but there is nothing of substance. I'll hold off on any victory laps until we start seeing some real action. It's only been a month, but Congress has been absent. There needs to be new bills on the President's desk every day cutting more and there just isn't.

It's fun and all watching the left freak out, but unless this turns to action soon, we're going to lose the moment.

Fair assessment. As for the tariff thing, they tend to be deleterious in general, but Trump makes a valid point insofar as the policies of our trading partners who are engaging in protectionist practices. The tariffs in this case are at least a reasonable threat to EU, Canada, etc. who don't want to play nice. We've been taking it in the neck at the hands of other nations in terms of trade for a long year. I agree that it's time for that to come to ends.

C+ for exposing some rot and firing fed workers.

F compared to Coolidge
A compared to Biden

Coolidge didn't face the same challenges. Coolidge did literally nothing, much to his credit. Doing nothing today would be tantamount to having elected Harris.

Why the fuck are you disparaging the best president of the Twentieth Century by brainlessly parroting a hundred years of deep state propaganda?

If your Orange-Pop Idol was dismantling Wilsonian socialism, reprivatizing big industries like railroads, and fighting Congress tooth and nail to prevent them from creating big, corrupt bureaus, you'd be dancing in the streets and demanding we all bend the knee. Well, Harding and Coolidge did that. Yes, ingrate, it was hard work. They had to show up every damned day to dam Congress up. And here you are insisting that we should all believe the bullshit from your Funk & Wagnall's history book.

Wilsonian socialism was not the nothing burger we were misled to believe. You can grow up and understand the truth now. Your high school history teacher is not still grading you from the grave.

You're trained to be stupid, and that's what you're doing. Stop it. Nobody disparages Harding, Coolidge and their fantastic accomplishment on my watch. Coolidge didn't just sit there holding the line. It takes a historical ignoramus to repeat that shit. Dismantling Wilsonian Socialism was a hell of a lot more work than Trump has done in his whole attention whoring existence.

We're just like all these brainwashed Karen Feminists, aren't we? We spend all our brainwashed lives disparaging the people who have done us the biggest favors, then can't figure out why no one will do us favors any more. Read about the USRA. You'll sound a whole lot smarter when you're through.

If I could trade the Trump/Vance bluster for Harding's and Coolidge's action I'd throw Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and you in to sweeten the deal.

The madder the libtards get, the happier I am. I’m a happy boy lately. Lots of mad people here too.

He's letting the libtards get away with murder. Literally. And Israel, too.

Sploding heads are a damned puny favor, in my book. Don Rickles and Howard Cosell never minded sploding their heads for money. They just waited until the cameras were off and laughed all the way to the bank.

The more we let pissing other, admittedly obnoxious, citizens off be our whole political goal in life, the faster this republic-turned-empire slides down the sewer pipe. Never mind, they told you what to want and what to be satisfied with. All part of the psyop.
