Howcome we aren't more critical of Dennis K?

Kucinich is an old school Democrat in the same way that Ron Paul is an old school Republican. Most Republicans are now neo-conservative, and most Democrats are now neo-liberal, and they're pretty much the same damn thing.

Yeah, I think Kucinich is dead wrong on many issues, but at least I know where he sits. He speaks with the same kind of honesty that you hear when you listen to Ron Paul. He answers questions the way he sees it, without the pandering and avoiding and redirecting that you see in almost every other politician.

Hes a democrat so he has democrat liberal views. You can't expect him to have ron paul views. Even though Kucinich supporters seem to think Ron Paul should have liberal views. lol

Dennis is honest, and that's what counts most in a person. So long as someone is honest and keeps searching, they'll eventually discover the correct political philosophy. I'm a former Democrat living in a heavily Democratic area, and I can say that many, maybe even a third of the Democrats I know are people that would otherwise be libertarians if not for the heavy public school indoctrination we all faced. They're just naive, like I was, and like Dennis is.

Right now the battle is between the honest men and the hypocrites, and we need all the honest men we can get. Once the hypocrites are defeated and there's a clean debate among the honest men, then what's right will quickly become clear, and the honest men of the left, being honest, will in time see the error of their ways and join our side.

Dennis has no hidden agenda. It seems that he truly believes that his socialist ideals are best for the American public. He has the same love for this country and its citizens that Dr. Paul has, but he just wants to "fix" the system with a liberal approach as opposed to Dr. Paul's conservative approach.

He's an honest socialist. The major problem between congress and I isn't that we have philosophical differences. It's that they're liars and thieves.

We can talk about governmental philosophy, but there's no point until people are done lying and stealing.

QFT

There is no point in arguing until we have taken power back for the people.

Because Dennis is probably the only other honest man in Washington.

I disagree with him from a philosophic standpoint, but I value him way above any other dem or any republican. I say kick everyone out of the house besides kucinich and paul, we'd get two great honest debates and i'm sure a solution from these two would knock the pants off anything the other 500+ could muster in a complete term. :D

Kucinich totally sucks policy-wise, but he is honest. An honest man, once shown the error of his beliefs, will either cease to believe in errors or cease to be honest.

We have people here singing praises and planning to vote for an ex-CIA drug Czar who backed the Iraq war and the Patriot Act, but apparently there isn't enough hate for a man who has consistently and genuinely aligned with Dr Paul on civil liberties and foreign policy but misguided on domestic entitlements?!

At least we all know where Kucinich stands. Barr was for just about everything he's now against to paint himself a libertarian. It's a good thing for the LP that Cheney wasn't interested in the ticket.

As far as proportional hate goes, I'd say it is Barr who's being shortchanged.

Very well said!

Dennis is consistent.

I can argue with someone that is consistent, and even go so far as to respect them. I can't argue with someone who keeps flipping sides every five minutes. That's just . . . annoying.

I don't like Kucinich's stance on gun control. There. My criticism.

He uses the constitution to impeach Bush and in the next sentence talks about gun control. What dishonest idiot scum.

Couldn't have said it better myself! That sums up why I think he is one of the worst types of politicians. He smugly proclaims to be a Constitutionalists but ignores it when it doesn't fit his political agenda.
