Need specifics to report to my brother for convincing

I remembered my brother is a huge Howard Stern fan, so I'm chatting with him online right now. He has REPEATEDLY ignored my emails, but now I have him talking. He has agreed with most everything, but his concern is with his fiance's occupation: She oversees clinical trials of new drugs prior to FDA approval ... any arguments or expertise that I can use in my argument? My brain is kinda fried today ...

edit: Ron wants to abolish the fda ... I understand why he does, but what about her job ....

Do you think that clinical trials won't still be done? I mean, even if you remove the FDA and institute NOTHING in it's place - do you honestly think drug companies are willing to take on the HUGE liabilities of just dropping untested medications into the marketplace? Now, if she actually worked for the FDA...you may have concern.

Many of us have been posting these HOWARD STERN request messages multiple, multiple times over months on this board and to Stern and the RP Campaign Staff/Management.


I did get a email reply from Stern end of Dec, stating, "thanks for the request... blah blah...."



NEVER heard a word or reply back from the RP Campaign Staff/MANAGEMENT/etc.

He really was in the dark! That's no accident!
 
I wonder if Leykis thought the same way as Howard. Saying the media painted as a kook or something. Makes you think if Leykis really does any research at all, or just blindly follows the media.

How about just because he thinks it's a good idea doesn't mean he will be able to do it. he may only get 1/2 of what he wants.

Besides it's not like they will stop testing even with no FDA. If anything it would make his wife's job easier without all the red tape.

When you write him ask if we can use just his Paul bits!
 
The Campaign People DO NOT realize that Howard Stern, almost single handedly, through multiple guest appearances, handed underdog candidate George Pataki the New York Governorship over the incumbent. Howard and crew were awesome in their shows with Pataki and "KEWL" politicians. (Like Leno, etc)

So HOWARD's the Man and the MSM to get the message out to millions... Unfortunately, the RP Campaign Staff aren't listening.
 
Ron Paul has had a history of talking to just about anyone that is genuine. He is the only member of congress that would talk to Aaron Russo when he was doing his documentary about the income tax and the fed (no surprise nobody else would talk to him) and he has always had a pretty much open door policy from everything I have seen and read about as a Representative. I'd say he would do this kind of interview and it would help a lot.

Then they probably dont listen to Howard anyway. Ron Paul has already said that if someone wants to use their freedom by donating to him or giving him airtime, hes not going to throw it away. Theyre supporting the message, hes not supporting their personal expressions. This is how he deflected that Bunny Ranch donation where the media tried to make it more than it was.
 
Stern doesn't swear that much on the show, believe it or not... and really doesn't if its not appropriate.

I wrote Stern emails 6 months ago telling him all about Paul, the FCC, etc because I knew Stern was a libertarian... guess he didn't get them:(

You can also try to claim Fair Use. If it is just a short clip, just write a little review on the clip in the about this video. Make sure you mention the clip is being used for fair use.

They can still reject it of course, but makes it a little harder for them to fight the fair use issue.

I'll just have to tell him I bought a subscription to Sirius radio just to listen to him after I heard that YouTube bit on Ron Paul.
