They wont mention his name tonight! They CANT mention his name! Hes killing them and they dont know what to do besides pretend he doesnt exist. If Ron Paul had a truly bad showing, we would be seeing clips of his horrible performance. Much like we got to see the Rudy & Ron exchange from the first debate over and over and over.

:D :D :D Here we go!

Yeah, good point. They are really going out of their way to make him invisible. Much more so then any other candidate.

Normally I don't believe these theories, but this one is probably true- did anyone else see when Anderson Cooper was trying to say "Raw Politics" but it came out "Ron Paul"?

Yea I saw it. he fumbled over his words and said Ron Paul i guess it was on his mind

Another Meaningless Online Poll

CNN is totally ignoring Dr. Paul's strong showing in their online poll. I have to give their spin masters credit, at least they didn't announce a cut-off in voting to avoid a Hannity-like embarrassment of having to acknowledge Dr. Paul's popularity at the grass roots level on live TV.

Lew Rockwell commented on that on his blog... PRICELESS.

YARR, I BE A RON PAUL INTERWEB PIR8! :D

Yep, I saw Anderson do it too. Its probably because one of the political guests was also named Ron.

MSM is going to regret putting up polls. I have a feeling they are going to use biased phone surveys on their sites as it gets closer to primaries. Wake up America!

I'll accept that Ron Paul "won" if he starts getting the support of those GOP voters that are against the war in Iraq. He needs to start polling better in the established polls. As wrong as those polls may be about the actual voting behavior when the times comes to vote, some people just won't take him seriously until his number gets to the 5% mark. That means a lot of potential support, both financially and ideologically, will either go to waste, or, worse, will find its way to one of the other candidates.

Of course he "won" the debate on ideas, but the prize here is the presidency, not the debate itself.

I disagree. the prize is hearts and minds. Presidency will come, if not this time, then the next, or the next. But the people who are realizing this message is the truth, and it inspires them, are future congressmen and senators and governors and state legislators and city councilmen and county comissioners.

That's the prize.

Matt Drudge has always put up a poll for each debate so far. Sometimes (like he did for the Democrat one the other night) while the debate is still going on.

Tonight, he's done nothing.

Drudge Report is proving that the "new media" it's part of is just as corrupt and bad as "old media".

He's determined to shape people's perception so that they ONLY think of the "front-runners". There's no way he'll deviate from the program and post a poll that would risk, as he no doubt knows, showing massive support for someone who's an individual and not part of "the machine".

Just like the other debates, Dr. Paul can't really be declared the winner because his ratio of debate time pales in comparison to the other candidates. If he had equal time as the front runners he would be the winner hands down. I don't see how he can gain in the polls if has no chance to share the message.
