How Trump Is Making America Great Again by Attacking the Freedom Caucus

I am extremely pleased with President Trump. Truly, his accomplishments are more than I could ever have imagined and we are only a few months in!

Trump has nominated a fantastic(ish) Supreme Court Nominee. He has exposed the Corporate Press as BS propaganda to even the lowest IQ blue-pilled sheep. He has exposed the Intellegence Agencies (CIA/NSA) as enemies of the American People. He had exposed the danger of surveillance and intercepts to those seeking political office. He has claimed to be one of us, "red-blooded" American patriots. [See Note]

Then Trump turned to Obamacare.

Healthcare is a hot button issue for Obamacare-hating-on-the-campaign-trail Republicans. Speaker Ryan rolls out a secret bill and Trump throws his support, and his Twitter account, behind it.

Up until the last few days, I believed Trump was "playing" (queue rope/hang himself metaphor) Ryan and would call for his resignation after the obvious debacle of "Ryancare".

This would have been a good move on Trumps part (by solidifying his conservative support) and a win for liberty by getting the gavel from the snake they call Ryan.

Alas, this did not materialize. Instead, Trump turned on the Freedom Caucus and, in the process, did the only thing that could sink him. He attacked Constitutionalist's because they defied him in defense of the Constitution. Trump has just turned the Freedom Caucus into his enemy and accidentally into national heros. Including heros of Breitbart and Trump's own base!

This guy really is the gift that keeps on giving.

The Freedom Caucus are showing themselves to be the "rebellious" (yet) principled adults in Congress. Instead of the Freedom Caucus losing seats in 2018, look for Republican candidates to run on their desire to join the Freedom Caucus. The Freedom Caucus will grow much larger if they agree with Trump when he is right and stand together in opposition when he is wrong.

Can the Freedom Caucus carry on the R3volution?

2018 is a glorious opportunity to make the narrative: The Patriots of the Freedom Caucus are the True Champions of the People and their Natural Born Rights.

You might be skeptical, but all the grassroots Liberty Movement needs to do is to mobilize with this message and WILL it into reality.

Thank you President Trump and keep up the good work!

Note: The real three branches of government are the Fed, the CIA & the Corporate Press. Weakening two out of three ain't bad. It would be fantastic if Trump signed Audit the Fed but I won't hold my breath.

My recommendation is wait a week or two, and see if this is still an issue. In all likelihood it will be totally off our radar by then, we will be focused on something else, and the freedom caucus will be doing just fine. In fact, they may end up with even more donations and more funding from this.

I think Trump has something up his sleeve here. Just a few days ago he was saying how they were great friends.

Wait until it's off your radar, then see how you feel about it.

How quaint.

The ADHD School of Civic Responsibility. 'To arms! The British are coming! Oh, wait! A chicken!!'

That's not what I said.

People tend to freak out over every little thing, and a few days later it doesn't even matter.

The fact is Trump doesn't operate in a straightforward manner, he keeps people guessing, that's part of his whole persona. If you think you have him pinned, great, but you basically are spewing the same crap as the mainstream media and I don't buy it, it's just not convincing.

Yes, Trump outing himself (yet again..) as an enemy of liberty is a great boon for us.

Conservatives are soon going to be in open revolt, as they were at the end of the Bush administration.

Could you calm down a bit? It is such a nice evening. How many things with TRUMP brand on them do you own?

And ^this is the best post I've seen recently. Rather than doing mental gymnastics hoping Trump really didn't mean what he tweeted, take it at face value as a call to arms. If Trump double crosses Ryan good. It doesn't matter if that was his plan all along or if the backlash forces his hand. The result is the same. If Trump doesn't double cross Ryan but keeps double crossing the Freedom Caucus and the Freedom Caucus gets the upper hand because the backlash rallies the troops then good. The only possible negative result is if Trump continues to attack the Freedom Caucus and there isn't sufficient backlash from that move.

This is a quote from another forum where political talk is pretty much cavemanish but it's very accurate:

Trump is a showman. He accents the positive in everything he does including failures which he never admits, trumpeting them as success. He promised to undo Obamacare and he will take anything he can to pass off as doing so. The bill failed and he needs someone to blame and he does not care who.
He wins at all he does, that is his story and he is sticking to it. He would ruthlessly use the Repubs, the Democrats, the UN, the Girl Scouts and even members of this board to get what he wants and throw them in the ditch at the first moment it suited him.
He is a deal maker who will make whatever deal he can to get whatever he wants and owes nothing to the traditional halls of power in DC. Anti-socialists, conservatives, capitalists and constitutionalist can make great advancements with him but need to understand that he is not fixed to any party or politics beyond what makes him a 'winner'.
