How to reach 3,000 Iowans for $10 - POTENTIAL GAME-CHANGER - ChipIn to Win Iowa

Perhaps we could hit Google adwords then? The problem with Google Adwords is you target those who are interested in caucusing anyway so would be less effective than fb ads. Facebook ads means we reach those who may not be intending to caucus anyway.

That said, perhaps it would be best to just reserve the money to GOTV in NH.

Where's the Ad for supressing Santorum turnout? Isn't their an Anti-Santorum chip-in too?

@Christopher David

I really appreciate that you're doing this but your original idea for doing this project was to inform Dems and Indy's that they CAN register to vote as a Republican AT the caucus.

The links you are linking to still don't explain it well that anyone can show up to the caucus and register. The Iowa Caucus locator doesn't explain anything. The other thread does but it's hidden all the way at the bottom of the page. If someone glanced at the page, they might miss it or not even get down to the page where it says they can just show up AT the caucus and register.

Just think if you are a registered Democrat and you click on your ad that takes you to the caucus locator page, are you going to be confident that you can show up?

parocks had a good page set up here:

If he can add another line saying "Anyone can vote for Ron Paul even if you are a new voter, Democrat or Indy. You can register AT the caucus." that would be a great link to use.

there's also a website - http://parocks.com/ronpaul/iowa.html - which shares well in Facebook. People could just go to as many iowa related Facebooks and share that page, which contains in the title and description the message we want to get out.

It's a bit troublesome that we arent getting any information out except "Tuesday" on these little Facebook ads.

Everyone who has twitter tweet this image: http://twitpic.com/828skj

Spread it all over twitter. Hit facebook as well.

Bump for more donations. Multiple polls have said we can win IF young voters come out to the polls. This and phonebanking are absolutely critical right now!

Take a look at that Insider Advantage poll taken yesterday.

52.5% of 18-29s for Ron Paul
33% of Men
14% of Women.

Just hit MEN 18-29. All men in that age group. Over and over again, with slightly different information.
1) 17 years 2 months old
2) Bring driver's license with current address.

The other things.

That poll is pointing to a ridiculous advantage for Ron Paul with 18-29. We also win 30-44.

But we're 4th with Women. So, just Men. Santorum and Romney are leading handily with Women.
Santorum doesn't seem to have an age bias. Romney does extremely well with old, as we do with young.

Focus on Male.

http://parocks.com/ronpaul/iowa.html is a url that I can change to add anything people want.

I think your's is a better link to use. Can you make the links in that page clickable instead of having people copy/paste?

Edit: Nevermind, I see that the links at the bottom are clickable. I think if you can add a line saying that new voters, Democrats, and Independents can show up to register AT the caucus, it would help.

I respect your opinion but I think putting "exercise your right to vote" should do what we want it to. I think the number one barrier we are still fighting is motivating these young lazy bastards to get off their asses and out to the polls. I would definitely appreciate more input but right now I still think putting Anyone can do it at the top isn't as motivating. But I've been wrong before.

I do think you have a point about the caucus site link though.

Also completely agree with parocks about focusing on males.

I agree with you too. I think there are two problems. Getting young people motivated to vote AND letting Dems and Indys know that they CAN register at the caucus. The original point of this project according to the OP was to inform Dems and Indys that they can register. Your link does get people motivated to go vote so it is very helpful. I'm just worried that we're not addressing the Dems and Indy problem.

I got your PM, and look at the change in the webpage. I'd like to get the changes in the words agreed upon before I change the graphics.

According to this the Santorum ads have absolutely no reach. I'd like us to spend $1000/day on that alone.
Tracy

Those bottom two were not approved at the time I posted, and were actually declined. If you look up a bit, you'll see that one was approved - it now has a reach of 12,395 and frequency of 5.9 Kinda weird that one attack ad was approved and another with the exact wording and a slightly cleaner image would be rejected, but that's because Facebook ads have different ad approvers. I'll keep trying to add Santorum ads.

I have IowaForPaul.com registered. I will spend the first part of today turning that into a super legit looking website, then change the ads over to that.

Out of the $4,000 needed to max out, we have raised $2,456.

If you have yet to donate, please throw in a few dollars HERE. Or help promote this thread. Thanks!
