how to counterattack the ron paul race smear campaign

Many of my friendly libertarians emailed me about my tlak show blacks for ron paul saying that the very name of the show is against what ron paul stands for. But understand this, only by dealing with race issues head on can you deal with them. The bury your head in the sand approach of ignoring it will not work in THIS VICIOUS, GAME CALLED POLITICS.
My show is aimed at getting a particular segment of the community to wake up and listen to ron paul. By reaching out , it will counter any attempt at smearing RON PAUL. This is the NEOCONS ONLY CHANCE at stoping RON PAUL. I have already been invited on two "black" oriented talk radio shows and a leading black website in Chicago has opened up a full story about Ron Paul. You see this stuff works, we must get our hands down and dirty like the enemy does ( the enemy of freedom) and fight this nonsense with every tactic we can think of. I am not talking about doing some underhanded dirty stuff but we must do what we can to get people TO THINK ABOUT THE ISSUES!!!!

1) Who cares if Don Black gave money to Ron Paul so what. He is FREE TO SPEAK AND SAY WHAT HE WANTS, HE HAS THAT RIGHT GUARANTEED BY THE CONSITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.

2) Black militants have given to Ron Paul no media coverage of that. Many Nation of Islam, New Black Panthers and other groups are coming out saying Ron Paul is the man LOL!!! So what...

3) This is all an attempt to BRING RON PAUL successful campaign down in the dirt with hypothetical race questions and stupid divisive politics

Yep, today was nothing more than a coordinated political attack. We will need to get a thicker skin from this point on.

The great thing about Ron Paul is that no matter what the question, he can answer honestly. Even those crappy loaded debate questions he turned around, and by the end people were saying....hmmm he's right!

Some I've been using include the standard attack back for the use of guilt by association. I have also found a new one that works, point out that as Dr. Paul gets more popular, more crap will be made up about him, like how people are attacking mittwitt on his religion or fuckabee on his pardsons. This is just a sign Dr. Paul is becoming popular.

Of course, there is the old standard, blame the Clinton attack dogs who are afraid of Dr. Paul.
 
I just thought of another comeback that will get the wingnuts goat. Say he is being Swiftboated.

I'm going to try it out and see how it works.
 
A good way to counter the ron paul race smear is to plant a burning cross on the lawn of the media that printed the smear, with a Ron Paul 2008 sign on it.

ignore them. news becomes old news rather quickly when no one really reacts to it. Those who believe everything they hear on cable news are beyond our help.
Since there is no truth to Ron' being a racist then it will get old and die on the vine. The media is going to wish they had waited to smear him...They are going to be out of ammo before the smoke clears and will look like complete fools and villians to the american people since more and more people are join with us...
Everytime they attack us we grow in numbers... that is how we got so big to begin with... attacks at the debates.

Another logical argument to be made is that if he rejects the nazi donation because he doesn't want to endorse the nazi's views, that action infers he does endorse all the views of every other donor. Once you go through the list and find the flaws that every single donor has in order to rule them out because of a flaw in their character, you've pretty much eliminated all your donors.
 
All of their allegations have been pretty much destroyed. Nazi's in Thailand, "photo-ops" with Don Black... all responded to. I am sure the MSM will not pick up on it (judging it has been proven nothing more than a well crafted BS trolljob).

No, I am (well, John Clifton, not Clifton David). I and other black Libertarians are very happy about blacks for Ron Paul. We know this is the make-or-break pre-Iowa attempt to finally smother Paul's momentum with an emotional swift boat slur, that has built in plausible deniability ('hey, we didn't call him a racist'). This is one more reason for the MSM's suppressed coverage of his campaign--- it allows the negative drumbeat they DO build up using the supremacist story to have all the more impact.

They've been trying to come up with an issue to 'fringe' and thereby close out the books on Paul for months, comparable to the way they did so on the Democratic side to Kucinich ('can you confirm the story that you saw a UFO?', or 'can your wife show us her tongue piercing?'). They will succeed only if we let them.

What might seem more like fear-mongering would be taking quotes from Ron Paul in Ron Paul's newsletter like these:

"Opinion polls show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action."

"We are constantly told it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers."

I saw this posted on another web forum. How do you argue against this.
