How to Beat the "He Can't Win Mentality"

I just used the "He's projected to finish first in our state" on my extended family. They were like "really?" and became excited about voting for him.

Woot!

Maybe he can't win the primary, but I hope he can because no other G.O.P. candidate can get enough crossover votes to win the general election.

"If I had a ballot from everyone I've heard say, 'He can't win,' he would have already won."

I like the "all your neighbors are voting for Ron Paul" idea. lol

Simple and probably outrageously effective. People are sheep. Even here in the R3volution I see the sheep mentality. It is everywhere.

Rob, excellent list and suggestions. This is politics we are in people. Its win or lose. And we must do everything to win.

I believe it's a good time for a bump, and in the short time since I started this thread, I think we have a few new talking points.

Paul has thoroughly beaten Giuliani all across America.

Paul finished a strong 2nd in Nevada.

Paul finished a strong 2nd in Louisiana. (From my understanding, this may still change to 1st once all provisional ballots are counted. At any rate DO NOT start talking about conspiracies stemming from this point. We won't win any new supporters that way.)

Or one of my newest favorite statistics, Hillary won the Democratic side but with about 10% fewer TOTAL votes than Dr. Paul:

Nevada Total Votes

Hillary Clinton - 5,355
Ron Paul - 6,087

Well, that is a technically true statement ;).

This needs a good bumping right now, and I'll probably keep bumping it every few days unless it gets stickied. This is one of the major problems we face and will face until Paul is leading in the national polls.

Since when do red-blooded Republicans let the liberal media tell us who to vote for? We didn't let them talk us out of nominating Reagan--and they sure did try! There was a time when "Longshot" was his middle name, too!

Nice response! Get them all fired up to prove the "liberals" wrong.
