We have roughly 10 for sure delegates out of like 65? That's 15 percent of the delegates so far. Half of what he predicted, 30 percent out of the non 18 key caucus states he listed. HOWEVER! We probably picked up much more than 7 in Iowa because of our strong organization. ALSO 25 went to the Grinch because SC was the largest state so far, it was a primary, and it was in the south. So I'd say we're on track so far despite doing half as well as he predicted. 3 states is hardly an accurate prediction of the whole race. Without SC we picked up at LEAST 10 of the 40 or so delegates? that's 25 percent, we likely got more because of Iowa's unpludged thing...

Ok good so we are on track then!!! Great news!!! I know we are not expecting a thing coming out of Florida, so what state will be our first true test and In that state do we have to win it? Thanks so much for ur help.

If Romney can take ME and NV by large margin things go from bad to worse. He won both last time. PPP says Gingrich has a large lead in MN. If that happens the slim chance left of Ron as president is more or less over and we can stop talking about the delegate strategy and win a brokered convention talk. Hope for the best.

If Paul cannot get any traction out of the February caucus states (given the lack of momentum coming out of the first four contests, and the monumentally hostile media and/or vote rigged environment), it will be decision time. By the end of the month, he either winds down the campaign and collects delegates solely to impact the convention, or he switches to third party mode.

I agree. people put so much on only getting delegates, but momentum from at least some wins is necessary. We HAVE to win something before super Tuesday.

Nearly forgot about that, but I had completely forgotten your involvement in the effort!

Hey Brent, when you going to run for Congress again? You'd get a lot more support from this (much larger) forum if you ran again! :)

i'm running for races i can win.
this year- i've won a parish executive committee position, i will be on the ballot in march for state central committee, and i will be entering the delegate process starting tomorrow.
congressional races takes millions. i won't raise that much, so i am taking state positions all over the board.
when the convention rolls around, i will have a presence to fight for Ron.

Smart. I'm very proud for you Brent, you've done more there in Louisiana than a lot of folks could ever possibly thank you for.

Working within the state party there is a wonderful idea and hopefully there are at least a few others of your talent who could also join you.

count on about 20 others in this state. the campaign has made it one the goals to get as many ron supporters into state positions here.
i've been assuming they are doing that in other states too. we are taking this party for liberty.

Ron Paul should focus on Louisiana and Nevada at the moment. Getting delegates in these states will boost the confidence of Ron Paul supporters nationwide.

Let Santorum and Gingrich waste all their money on Florida.

If all states after April 1rst are winner take all, why do you expect to get portions of delegates in so many late states? Am I misunderstanding the process?

Not all, but many states are winner-takes-all after April 1st. The difference is that Florida is too close to South Carolina :)

Here in the North-east, everyone I talked to is voting for Ron Paul.

THANK YOU WE NEED MORE THREADS LIKE THESE!

If Ron can win LA and NV, that would put him in a very commanding position in the race (at that time)
