Hoping this thread can just be used for fun and as a motivation tool.

Kansas: 5 votes
Oklahoma: 1 vote

Texas: I've honestly lost count. Probably 20-30, most being those I go to school with...although I've also converted many of those in my family.

Hundreds. For realz. I'm a rabid proselytizer, I slay false ideologies like it's nothin'.

I've converted 5 people into hard core Ron Paul supporters. I've encouraged and reinforced at least 5 on the fence folks who are now unapologetically pro-Paul. There are a whole lot more that are maybes, they seemed really open to what I had to say or debated with me and started agreeing but no commitment either way.

Obviously I'm not counting folks I encountered via phone from home or anything. Hope I've made a splash or at least cranked people's minds open a little to the freedom message.

3 confirmed... probably more. And not to take any chances on those who confirmed, I'm helping them submit absentee ballots. :)

I've converted about ten Mitt Romney supporters, and 3 Gingrich followers. The odd thing to me is that Paul isn't beating these guys. All the followers of those two knuckleheads are so wish washy, no passion, no heart. They don't know anything about their issues or their past voting records. They all say that they only vote for them because the media says they can beat Obama. I have the best luck with the independents and have converted at least fifty since the 08 run. Most of those were past Obama fans and bought into the hype about change, and understand real change can only come from Paul. :)

We are the free men (and women). Most others are serfs, whose job (in this instance) is simply to vote for whomever they're told. The slavery is mental, and their bondage is to the landscape of thought presented by the media. What slave would have any passion for their job?

That's another reason why liberty is so addictive. When you're free, you can do what you love.

In SC I convinced two cousins to vote for Paul, and one of them ended up getting 3 of her friends to vote for him too..

In Arizona over the past couple years I've converted probably 8-9 into future probable votes, but a dozen more still working on. A lot of people don't care too much about politics, and the ones who do usually have their minds made up (a friend is huge romney supporter and another is huge gingrich supporter...no matter what I say they won't change their minds)

I think the week of the primary will be a good excuse to bring the topic up and go in the for kill for some more votes. It's about a month away.

From 07 to 09 I ran 2 political groups that added members to the ron paul army by campaign before and after the election, campaigned in Iowa.... My county in Arkansas was the only one in the state Paul Placed in. Then I ran for office, kept close ties to my supporters... So id say about 1000.
Ive got too much work this year though so I can only donate to the campaign.

This being said, I think im going to write something for the RPFs on how I talk to people and get them to vote Paul.

Also, ive moved from Searcy county to Washington since 08.

Did you win your office?

I have seen these threads a few times before and never had a comment before. I run with a very granola crowd and most naturally identify themselves as liberal and progressive. I have been having some conversations and posting things that are important in my world on facebook, but generally I don't push too hard. A while back I posted a video of RP speaking about licensure for midwives and yesterday copy/pasted a quote of his regarding racism. I just saw two people post the same video on their fb pages!! They have a lot of influence in the community. I hope this is the start of a trend!

I lost against a 12 term incumbent as a 19 year old(at the time) 2100 to 1400. Im glad I lost though... I wasn't ready for it. Great learning experience though... It grew my sales and public speaking skills alot. I'm also in the marketing business this last 4 years because of it. So I think I defiantly could win if I ran again. No way I will though. Im doing too good for myself to mess it up. Unless someone dropped $50,000 for me to go campaign, but that wont happen.

I understand. But remember that if people like you do not run for office, then people who represent the things we are against will, and if we do not challenge them at every level of government then they will win. And they have done just that for many years.

I hope you keep your options open. Arkansas is a state where races are very fluid. Congressional seats seem to become available there more often than in Texas, Oklahoma, and many other states in our region. If you are in elected office, even locally, you drastically increase your chances for the future.

My problem is I wouldn't want to really want to run for a local seat. However, I would like to be someone's campaign manager one day.

Hard to say how many minds I've changed. Sign waves, sign posting, event tables, family, friends, family and friends of family and friends. I would guestimate 50+.

Couldn't tell you. I work Ron into as many conversations as I can for years now and actively try to get people to switch parties/vote for RP. Of course, in 2007/2008 I also worked Ozzfest in Mansfield, Ma. with several dedicated volunteers - a very successful endeavor I might add. We also tried to work Fenway Park (not as successful). Stood at polling place in town with my RP signs (with my daughter) and talked to people. Helped to organize the Philly Rally in 2007 - on and on and on... slimjims on cars - bumper stickers to get attention - so who knows? But it's been fun and hopefully a little bit helpful.
