How many of you understand the USA just elected a (potentially) brutal dictator?

Question:

Do you know what the whole point of the 2nd Amendment is?

You sir, are no lover of liberty.

You might want to do some research before you embarrass yourself again.

Why do you hate America?

We have a "Trump Opposition Research" thread stickied, but no, "How can we help Help Trump promote Liberty" thread stickied.

Some here are even writing that Trumps proposals do NOTHING to advance the cause of liberty. NOTHING.

It's delusion. Apparently because Trump called Rand spoiled, and insulted his height and debate performance.

Nevermind we are on RON Paul Forums, and Trump called (and by any measure still considers) Ron Paul "a joke."

That's nice. Much more important than the busted up pedophilia ring and other massive world events. I mean, being called a manlet on stage is basically heresy.

Well, you know this is coming from Ron Paul supporters, so it must have nothing whatever to do with dumb things like principles and policies...since all those Ron Paul 'purists' think about is emotions and how someone insults their candidate and whatnot. :p lol

When was Rand Paul not the ire of purists? I seem to recall having to personally defend Rand on here from some Ron Paul supporters. There were even points where I had to back off defending him because even I was like "yeah, I can't justify working him with bitch mcconnell"

Love me some Rand Paul. Basically a mini-me version of Ron but who was willing to play their political bullshyt games. I may identify more with Ron on principle, but I identify more with Rand on politics.

When he finally entered the race and the site owner decided to "Stand with Rand!" I've criticized Rand. I make no bones about it. Oh, the excoriation I received. But, when push came to shove and he entered the race I packed the criticism into a drawer. And...Stood with Paul. Trump supporters on the other hand cannot help but go against site guidelines in their support for their "God Emperor." And Bryan, as steadfast as he was about Rand criticism, somehow does not hold the same standards to Trump supporters. The compass of these forums works about on the same level as one in the Ross Sea.

That's not the goal nor intent. If there is a major functional problem please PM me about it with details.

Thanks!

No. Thank you. I think it is time for you, as site owner, to engage with the members as you have just done. Transparency is a big thing in the liberty movement. Is it not?

Do you think the proliferation of Trump supporters to your site increases your sites goal? Do you instruct your moderators to..moderate? Are you happy with the way this forum has progressed since Trump became a candidate, a nominee, and now the next president?

Honestly, it's time for you to take action, in what ever form you choose, but TAKE action.

Trump was vetted and jettisoned. His sycophants prance upon your property until those of us that have been here since the beginning get tired of it. We bite back. And we get banned for doing it.

You can't call this place Ron Paul Forums, and allow this shit to continue.

Many many members have pointed out that it is abhorrent, sullies the name of Ron Paul and gives the wrong impression to his ideals.

Time to shit or get off the pot. Is you is, or is you ain't?

No, the Second Amendment is to prevent the federal government from disarming the people.

This is why the federal government disarming people, is a direct violation of the Second Amendment.

Of course, I "fall" for the misdirection while trying to keep the thread on topic. I stand by my answer however much we digress from the topic of the thread.

The federal government putting you on a secret infringement list is a direct violation of ALL of your rights, but that's none of my business.

And to protect individuals and local communities from being overpowered and overcome.

ANYTHING that comes in the way of this is a breach of the 2nd Amendment.

I totally agree with your amendment to my answer with the caveat, just like any other law, if the 2nd Amendment is not enforced its quite useless. I think logically if you are not going to take up arms against secret infringement lists your position on 2A is severely "disarmed".

It is quite clear to me that the secret infringement lists are the shadow gov's way to work around protection on ALL of my rights incl. 2A. Yet here we all are, all 300 million of us or whatever sitting around allowing not only our 2A to be breached but ALL protections to be breached.

Attaching an explicit ban on guns for people on these secret infringement lists opens up a whole hell of a lot more exposure on the secret lists themselves.

It's much easier for me to organize a 'legal' sign up of 10,000 people in my local community to 'pre-qualify' for gun ownership than it is for me purchase 10,000 boarding passes if my plan is to bring some sun light to these secret infringement lists.

By all means, please do attach an explicit gun ban to anyone on a secret list. It will make it infinitely more easier to expose these lists and to directly counter attack and defend ALL rights, not just 2A.

Point being, if you don't think your 2A is already breached by being on a secret infringement list, then you are not on the front line in the battlefield and your tactics for defending your 2A have already been compromised.

And one more time, an explicit documentation of your loss of 2A protection for being on a no-fly/terrorist/anti-gov/ima-dictator-so-i-can-list is a red herring. You lost all your protection the minute your name landed on that list.

So go ahead and assume all of our names are on the list and all of our protections are violated. Don't wait to get on a plane and don't wait to arm yourself. I welcome any change to the way things work that will allow the secret lists to be challenge, including giving me a cheap way to cross off as many people as I can from that list.
