Everytime I watch cnn/fox news media video's of Ron Paul

1. the interviewer's completely mock him

2. the story is completely outrageous like Ron Paul getting money from hookers or something

3. they are trying to put words in his mouth to make him look an idiot an cut him off

Every single time he is on TV he is being redicucled on the shows in debates he gets the obscure questions while they give all the otehr hard hitting issues to other candiants

They are downright mockin ron paul and tryin to look him look like the worse person ever and thsoe are the only times i see him on TV they never show any good things from his side like other candidants they show good things.

I haven't seen any advertisements WHAT IS RON PUAL doin with all that money i should be seeing hugeTV ad's for ron paul but im not instead im seeing news shows continually bash him an put him in a bad light

being in the spotlight ISNT good unless its for a good cause ron paul needs to stop going on these news shows unless they show his true msg an put him in a good light, instead of bein spinned into negativity.

Here is an example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrkltetQ0x4

the interviewer shills for huckabee and says that ron paul's statement is false HE IS INTERVIEWER HE ISNT SUPPOSED TO INTERPTRET SOMEONE ELSES MSG HES SUPPSOED TO TALK TO RON PAUL AN ASK HIM QUeSTIONS he has nor ight to shill for huckabee

Another expample http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OujsAXBqqic

the interviewer asks him him about a adult night club owner donated to his thing to make him look like a sleezebag adultress an acts tries to act like ron paul gets his money from adult business's

Do you live In Iowa or NH? If you don't, then you won't be seeing any advertisements for him.

Media coverage is coverage.
Bill Clinton came to light with negative coverage.

So what if the media bashes him. The local people that don't vote (especially in the primaries) will just remember the name and whatever last comment was made.
The people that do vote will do further research.

At least his name is being mentioned which is all we hope for.

If we place third in Iowa we can expect the baseless attacks of 'racism' to really pick up. If they succeed in convincing voters that Paul is intolerant then the momentum we build up in Iowa will mean nothing come New Hampshire. They did it to Buchanan, they will do it to us.

Before this happens, Paul needs to distinguish himself as the tolerant Republican. Remember Paul was one of the few politicians who realized the horrible damage the 'war on drugs' was causing to black families; ripping fathers away from their children.

He needs to show that he is the champion of individual liberty and tolerance of all people regardless of race or sexual orientation. The campaign should prepare ads that counteract the attacks. Something like, "this is what the media says about Ron Paul, but these are the facts....he fought for inner city folks when no one else would…he loves gays etc etc." You know stuff like that which will galvanize New Hampshire voters.

The fact that they are attacking him proves he is more popular than they'd like to admit. All of these baseless attacks are just that, baseless.

And in the end, Paul is not using these donations to spread intolerance or hatred, he's accepting the money to spread his message of freedom and tolerance.

Repeating a falsity over and over again in an attenpt to have it gain in veracity may have worked before, but this time around it's going to fall flat. Ron Paul's life is an open book to anyone willing to read it.

The campaign still has to be proactive in fighting off slanderous attacks such as these. I am almost certain that after Iowa the media is going to do its best to slander the good doctor, the most accepting and tolerant politician out there, as a 'racist'.

With so little time between Iowa and New Hampshire such an attack could stymied our momentum. Think about it, the media will bring up the supremacist’s donation, Lincoln criticism, and the fact that Paul criticized the Civil Rights legislation. They might even bring up the fake article attributed to Paul all in the attempt to knock our poll numbers down. Granted no Ron Paul supporter is dumb enough to fall for such lies but the average voter will if the campaign stays silent on these issues. For the first time we have the resources to deflect the attacks back on the media, I hope HQ is prepared.

maybe he should announce Walter williams as his VP just after Iowa? Then they really have no ground to stand on.

He really does need to step these bits up.

The 'dislikes the '64 civil rights act' plays really badly.

He needs to step up the rhetoric about the war on drugs and any thing else that he can attack as racist.

You figured out that the media is bullshit and treating him unfairly. You are not the only one. Have faith in your fellow Americans to see through the bullshit. Don't worry, more and more of us get it every day.

His chances would be a lot better if his so called supporters would stop carrying the MSM's water for them by spreading this BS. Stick to positive!

They'll just start saying that Williams isn't really black. Paul will need to come through these things on his own as much as possible, first.

they will call it pandering, and the Democrats would love to give Obama leverage, should he win the nomination. "which would you prefer? a racist with a black VP or the US' first black president?" keep race out of this altogether. I think their is an underlying agenda by strong establishment support for Obama - I suspect Rove at work here.

I agree with whomever said earlier that Ron Paul is a bigger threat than anyone will say.

Those that are raising this false issue

are never going to support him. They are only raising this issue because they have no way to rebut Ron Paul's arguments. They really don't care about racism or anti-semitism.

There is a real danger in responding to the the issue will give it and those pushing it credibility. They can always make up smears faster than they can be addressed. They then become a distraction from discussing the real issues - which is certainly the intent.

One possibility for stopping them in one fell swoop is to keep the disputed donation(s) which the campaign has rightly and justly decided to do. Then this massive army of supporters could be marshalled to make a $1 donation each to some credible anti-bigotry organization. It could be called "Dollars from Don" after Don Black. I would NOT advocate targeting the donations towards the ADL. I think a better approach would be to target historically black colleges. It would piss off the stormfronters, generate goodwill for the campaign and not cost the campaign a cent.

Unintended irony

Dollars From Don (Black) - historically black colleges.

Also consistent with Dr. Paul's support of private education.

ProtossX,
Does Ron Paul actually do or believe in anything you LIKE? I was looking at your old posts, and you raise interesting questions... but wow...
:)

Bohemian member

Walter Williams is a member of the Bohemian Club which has its annual faux human sacrifice to a giant owl ceremony every year at the three week event at Bohemian Grove. As most of you must know, this club event is attended by most of the nation's movers and shakers. It also recruits academics to its ranks, which is where, I suppose, Walter Williams factors in. In any event I find it curious that RP would mention a member of the Bohemian Club as a potential VP. Of course one should not judge a person by the company he keeps but it certainly raises questions.

He may be a "very good economist" as RP has said but some of the articles I have read indicate that he appears to believe government statistics which we all know are phony. "Court" economists, like their historian colleagues, are notorious for creating a cover for the money power, to justify their abuses.
