How is McCain beating Obama in the AOL straw poll?

Well, if the on-line polls are indicators of how people will vote, and we use Ron Paul's performance in those polls as an indicator.....then McCain might as well pack it in now.

I think Ron only took a handful of states ever in the AOL polls.... We would start out good and then lose all of the states to McCain or Romney in a matter of hours.

Hillary people still want to show that they're upset, but this will change with time

As sad as it may be that people are so racist.. I don't believe Obama can get enough votes from whites.

Oh, so because I'm white and not voting for Obama I'm a racist? Even if that isn't what you are getting at there are a lot of people who are using that line and it's BS. Maybe if Obama wasn't a socialist that attended a black supremacist church for 20 some years white people would be a little more inclined to vote for him. Most white people don't like a racists any more than most blacks do.

Maybe the powers that be want him so they put up whatever they want.

Sad but I no longer believe much in elections - I think they are rigged!

Actually YES!

He meant there are a lot of people who won't vote for him because he's black.

As for his "Black Supremacist Church" thats not really a extremist church, its a mainstream black church. There are major cultural differences between Black Churches and White Churches that have to do with Slavery and the Civil Rights movement.

Eitherway its his spiritual mentor; not his political guide, any good man knows to seperate the two.

I doubt they will ever be added
Note From AOL: Our weekly survey was restarted again on Friday, June 6 at 10:30AM ET. This the first AOL Straw Poll of the general election season. We will be launching a new version of this poll shortly that includes third-party presidential candidates.
