After raising over 5 million in Q4 and 2 million since Iowa? Or is it just not enough to compete in the rest of the states?

7 million is peanuts when it comes to running a national campaign. Huckabee is broke.

dude, romney gave himself double that from his own pocket. each democratic candidate has raised almost 100mil. RP is down to about 10mil from the 20mil he raised this quarter.

And they still have to go till next November. Ten more months of advertising, will cost about a hundred mill more.

Huckabee, is history. Thompson is also, and the only ones left will be Romney, McCain, and Paul.

Perhaps at that time, folks will take a look at Ron Paul, and see that he is the only one who can beat Hillary Clinton.

We don't know this until the NUMBERS are released by the FEC next week.

I think ten more months of advertising will be about a billion more.

Can someone point me out to Q4 numbers?

Q4 donations haven't been reported yet, the deadline is Jan 31. On/after that date, you should be able to find them at:
fec.gov
newsmeat.com
opensecrets.org

... and other similar searchable databases.

This is the very reason we have seen calls for getting $ 23 Million more to Ron Paul and why even RP probably has less than $10 mil left. And why when people ask why RP isnt spending any money they dont know what they are talking about ( He doesnt have the cash to spend millions per state with abandon)/

It is expensive to run for POTUS. It takes more than a boost from a win here or a money bomb there. All these staffs and overhead, even for a "lean" campaign are expensive.

It's pretty sad how much the Dems steamroll the Republicans in fundraising. Only RP would stand a chance against them in a general election.

Isn't that funny how the socialists get so much more money than the mercantilists.

$5 million can't go too far when you run a one state campaign.
