How do you buy from amagi metals with bitcoin?

I was going to place an order for some silver and pay with bitcoin, but it told me to scan this little block code and I have no idea how to do that. Does anyone know what I'm talking about that can help me?

Well you can probably just type in the address, the barcode is just a way to scan in their wallet address and payment info so there aren't any typos.

But if you get blockchain app on your smartphone you can put the money in that wallet and blockchain will scan the code which contains the payment information and everything, then you can send the payment instantly.

I'm on the checkout page and I don't see any place to enter my wallet address. It has a button that says "Click to Pay" but it always says the webpage cannot be displayed.

You should see something along the lines of:

So if you go to your mt.gox account or whatever bitcoin wallet you have, and send a payment in the amount specified to the wallet specified, it should pick it up and accept your payment. It doesn't happen instantaneously, but when they get the update that the payment is sent everything gets authorized. I think at that point it allows you to hit Place Order and everything goes through.

You can also try bitpay, I don't recall how that works exactly but it is linked to in the payment area.. I used blockchain to pay with the barcode and it picked it up and I've received all my silver from them.

You can try hitting the "Place Order" button. I think it gives an error if your payment hasn't gone through, or puts it in limbo waiting for payment, not sure.. I almost want to say when it goes through the website automatically places the order for you since you already paid them but I don't recall for certain.

I remember freaking out a little one time waiting for it to go through because I took a long time to get my phone, get the blockchain app out and forgot about the time limit, but it ended up going through at the last minute.

I don't think you're going to lose any bitcoin.

I'd copy and paste the transaction details from your bitcoin wallet that you sent it from and tell them the time ran out and ask them what to do.

In the mean time, keep that tab open, the order might go through anyway.

How long does it take? Either for your transaction to go through or for them to respond?

I just refreshed the box on the checkout page where it has the timer and it said my order has been paid in full and it gave me a receipt, but it still says my order hasn't been paid when I click on the "Place Order" button.
