How do we remove the decadent consumerism ...


1. We produce all we use .

2. what we cant produce - we dont use .

3. We dont buy in to name brands .

4. Imports should stop compleatly .


all this would create jobs , production , surpluss of products .

you are addressing only symptoms. If you want to end consumerism, then you've got to change the way people think about and live life. We have rampant consumerism because psychological techniques have been used via the media to get the population to connect "things" with "happiness". I'd say the first step in destroying consumerism is to end the Federal Reserve and fractional reserve banking. Without mass lending, this type of mass consumption can't happen. Remember, the government was the first big spender.
