Like Ron Paul said. "if nobody shows up, they will think its a failure of the idea"

let it be remembered that never again in the future of political campaigns will a candidate receive the same support, enthusiasm and donations UNLESS the message is about liberty, freedom, peace, and the constituion. accept no imitations.

At least as much as Obama & Hillary drew.
Was that 30K or so? We should have 50K at least, then.

How about we do a special, well-publicized MONEY BOMB to help determine how many will go.

$20 - Yes, wouldn't miss it for the world
$15 - I'll try my best, but no guarantee (> 50% chance)
$10 - Wan't to go, but most likely can't. (< 50% chance)
$5 - I'm a huge RP supporter, but can't make it to D.C. Good luck!

Should give us a good tally, and raise some $$'s too!

I would call it a success if only I was there, because it means something to me to make a stand. The more people the better. I'm one of the few not worried about numbers.

Buuuut. As far as the media is concerned, we'd probably want 10,000+ to even be covered in the local newspaper.

I said more than 100k, because there were no options between that and a million.

MLK got 250k in the 60's

Million Man March got 700k-million supposedly, and they only allowed men to participate

I would say 100k to get noticed at all, 250k to make a blip on national news, 500k+ to be a complete success.

question... if every person that VOTED for Ron Paul in the "potomac" area and the surronding states show up... is that 100,000 people?

just trying to get a realistic estimate... i voted for ~50,000 to call this thing a success

well so far Ron has had around 600k people vote for him total

but 50k WOULD be a success, and 100k would be major. lol at the people thinking we have to beat MLK to be a success.......

I think 200k+ would be great. If I could make it to DC a few months from now, anyone can. (40 hours of work+12 hours of school+a damn girlfriend:p)

no body has an excuse not to go!!!
